We would rate them zero if that option were available.We used United Van Lines last year to relocate from New Jersey to Colorado- a distance of 1,800 miles with no overecharge or mistreatment of personal property that we experienced on a very local move of under one mile. Our estimate included having all of our furniture shrink wrapped- not done- the crew did not have enough shrink wrap- so we provided our own furniture wrap and still not properly done by the crew.

Terrible experience, start to finish. Misrepresented pricing; complete lack of communication from the minute we signed up; refusal to answer basic questions/show up for basic elements of the service; changed move dates at last minute (forcing a scramble to adjust days off in new job); packing and/or unloading caused broken items/warped furniture; lost several parts to tvs, furniture; messes left at every phase of move; an unpack into a storage facility—just dumping stuff, stacking huge weight in…

I regret to say that my experience with Johnson Storage & Moving Company fell far short of expectations, especially given their high pricing compared to competitors. I assumed the higher cost would guarantee premium service, but this has not been the case. Initially, I wasn't even provided with a transit time for my move to Hawaii. It was only after pressing the company for details that I was told it would be between 21-35 days.

The very worst company we have ever dealt with. They are rude, unprofessional and will change the pricing with no cause. They broke many things and just laughed at the cost of the items they broke (almost 15K dollars). They are untrustworthily and I would not recommend this company at all!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would.

The moving crew was great! The sales team will add in costs and then provide poor reasons as to why. Such as, "they packed more than they estimated" or "the move went a little longer than we thought it would." So you'll pay for their poor estimate.

Our packers Wavion, Hector, Oscar and Nick were very efficient and hard working. I originally gave them a 5 star rating , but when I saw all the damage to our belongings because of the way they loaded the truck, I had to change the review and rating. They put heavy stuff on top of fragile. My husband’s heavy work table had a leg broken and it was a 2x4 which they manage to split. His big kiln the lid was broken and it is unusable.

United Van Lines picked up my mother's furniture and belongings, including an antique baby grand piano, boxes of precious books and photographs, artwork and legal papers, on April 27th, 2021, to move from WA to Colorado after my dad's death. Seventeen days later, her belongings are still in the warehouse in WA, with no end in sight. Every call to "customer care" is the same runaround. They all "understand". No one can give me any information.

I haven't used these folks, but, apparently, someone with an interest in the house next door has. The moving truck was parked across my driveway for hours, beginning early in the morning, blocking me in. As I wasn't sure where they were picking up or delivering, I watched for a long while, but never saw the team on the truck. Well, until the cops came, and they emerged from the house next door.
