Keep It - Moving & Labor, LLC.

Hired them for a move recently. They pawned the job off on a subcontractor, but my contract was with "Keep It- Moving & Labor LLC," so they are on the hook for all this. I have worked with a variety of moving companies in various regions of the country, and I have never experienced anything quite like this. Simply put, they were the worst movers I have ever witnessed.

I really do not like leaving a bad review, the guys were very polite and hard working, but I definitely did not get the type of service I expected. The team showed up with items already in the truck, so some of my stuff did not fit and I had to make other arrangements. I was told during the estimate that furniture would be wrapped, nothing was wrapped and most large items were lightly damaged. A TV was also broken.

What a nightmare! When you hire “professional” movers, you expect a certain level of experience and organization. Look elsewhere! The movers were very late, went to the wrong house, and were unnecessarily slow and unprofessional. While the men WERE polite and courteous to us in person, they got into a SHOUTING MATCH in the front yard! They damaged and broke items, and openly complained about the work. It was appalling. I’ve moved many, many times and this group was the simply a mess.

I'm rewriting my review. My first review started with keep it moving to another moving company. It stands the same . I was moved Nov 1st 2024. He still hasn't contacted me to file a claim. . I actually had to file a claim with the rental company to pay for the damage Keep it moving llc did to my former property with the truck they rented . They took the claim on Jan 14th 2025. It took months and hours and hours spent on the phone writing letters and sending emails .

I hired this company to move an arcade basketball game. The contract stated they would be there between 10-11 am. They showed up a little after 12. An hour late. They were supposed to bring tools to disassemble the basketball game, put it in the truck and deliver to my property that was 1.5 miles away, carry it in the house and reassemble. I provided the weight of the game and all the dimensions. They did not have any tools with them when they showed up.

Only giving them one star because I cannot give them zero. The movers, while they were moving, chipped the paint from my wall from two areas and they reassured me that once the move is completed, I can call them and they will come and fix it. I have called them several times and only after I threatened to leave a negative review did they give me a call back and said that they will come and fix it, but nothing has happened since and my wall remains damaged from 2 areas.

Absolutely disgusting, beginning from the ugly realization that, despite how they're advertised and listed with DOT, Keep It - Moving BROKERS for their Movers. Best believe I was charged for the "full package" of precautions, and best believe the 3 jokers STILL showed up without a single dolly and *no* mattress pad. Like I'm stupid, they literally wrapped my mattress with sheet plastic, then knotted it at the ends.

If I could give zero stars I would. I requested a large 3 bedroom apartment move. 3 movers showed up with only a 16ft box truck. I knew from the start all of my belongings were not going to fit and the day was only going to get worse. They started at 330pm and after 2 trips back and forth from my old place to my new place and 7 hours later, there is still a lot of things at my old place that could not be moved due to my new complex not allowing moving after 10pm. They broke my daughter's bed and her nightstand.
