The rating breakdown
Google shows 17 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. 3 of those are one or two star.

Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.
What the complaints say
Moving goes wrong in a small number of specific ways. These are the ones reviewers describe in the low-star reviews we have read for Kirafiki Moving & Transport, counted by matching the words they used.
- Late, delayed or a no-show1 · 33%

In their own words
They came highly recommended BUT did not show up!! When we tried to contact someone no one would answer the phone and the mail box was unable to take messages. Can't tell you how stressful it is when you have a full moving truck and no way to unload it.
I needed to move one item in town. Called in and was told probably next week Wednesday, also i would be receiving a phone call to confirm. Never recieved a phone call back. It is now Wednesday. I have tried calling 5 times today. Noone has ever answered my call. Their voice mail box is full, I'm assuming from a large amount of other customers they are ignoring. Waste of my time. Company clearly needs a receptionist to take calls and organise work. Least they could do is tell us they are booked up.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
We used Kirafiki for our move within PG and they were amazing. They did most of our packing and worked super efficiently but everything breakable was kept safe. Not a single thing ended up broken or missing, and they never hit, nicked or damaged any walls in our old home or in our new home. The movers were all friendly and highly professional. I think the price was very reasonable for the amount of time it took them and the quality of the service. I highly recommend Kirafiki!!
I've used Kirafiki Moving for household moves in the past and they were absolutely perfect to deal with. Friendly, prompt and very reliable. I used them again today to move a very heavy and sensitive piece of equipment for my business and they were amazing! I was nervous about my equipment being safe in the move and they were confident and had zero issues! Orech and his team are the only movers that I've used in the past 14 years and they proved to me, once again, why I continue to choose them.
We had Kirafiki Moving move two washers and dryers for us today. They were on time, extremely respectful and very professional. The care they took of our appliances and attention to detail were outstanding. Plus their rate charged was reasonable. Would use their services again in a heart beat. Highly recommend.
Great Experience! Orech and his workers showed up on time, worked hard and efficiently, and best of all took special care of all my things. I recommend them to anyone --- I've already booked them for my brother's move next week! Thanks Orech!
