So, this review is for KO storage. I called yesterday and talked to the call center because there is no actual person to talk to in Harlingen Texas about two serious issues that we have with our storage. One of which the storage door almost came down on me and almost seriously injured me if not close to killing me. We have to prop it up with a board. It is extremely heavy and loud. Checked an open nearby storage door and it was easy to lift.

Don’t ever rent here!!! All of our stuff in storage got ruined with rain and they are not doing anything about it!!! I had seen a post back in 2015 they had the same problem so I’m guessing it was never fixed!!
Not even 3 months into renting and they are ALREADY sent me a notice about increasing the price of the rent by about 40%. I saw another review saying they had been increasing the price on them too constantly. My guess is they sign you at the start low only to drive the price up after. Anyway just keep that in mind when shopping for storage here. Edit - They said they would reach out im a few days and its been over 10, haven't heard from "operations" yet just fyi

Extremely disappointed with KO storage. We have three climate control units and have noticed a significant decline in the upkeep of the facility. There are several dead insects in the buildings, along with trash inside and outside. In addition, the grassy areas are not being maintained. The previous owners, Rio Storage, always maintained the facility clean inside and out. KO storage has yet to do the same.

Honeslty idk about the AC operated storage. Im always sweating when I come and check mine. Its fresher outside than inside the building. On top of the spiders and other rodents I find. If I dont keep up with the poison then my stuff gets …

Super annoying. They keep charging your unit prices higher each year, and don't make changes. No clarification on what is considered a "move-out" WHILE TRYING TO CLEAN THE UNIT UP.
