We called them and verified a date of a move that they could do it, they sent someone to our house we spent an hour with going through all our stuff and measuring and listing it all... We got a pretty high estimate but went with it anyway... and then they said they couldn't do it the day or anytime near the day they originally said they could do it... total waste of time, totally unprofessional and not dependable. AVOID edit: response to owner..
We honor our customer's requests. Unfortunately the date requested, had been reserved by other customers. At no time did we promise a move date or held a date. We offered the dates that we had available and they found them to be unacceptable.
The person answering the phones is very nice and confirmed the date we wanted was available for our move. She never once said anything about being too busy on the dates we talked about or not being able to confirm them, etc. She even said one date I wanted wasn't available. We debated on two different days and decided on a day that would have less traffic. They then said we need to get an estimate.

We recently hired Locatelli Moving and Storage to assist with a complete remodel of our school library, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, their team demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and a clear understanding of the unique needs involved in moving a school library. They handled the packing process with great care—each book, shelf, and resource was carefully labeled and protected, ensuring nothing was lost or damaged. Unpacking and reorganization were equally smooth.
Locatelli is a family owned moving and storage company located in Santa Cruz, CA. They have helped us move twice now, in addition to storing some of our stuff for a few years in between our moves. All the folks we worked with a Locatelli were friendly, professional and efficient. In our last move, they actually charged us a bit less than the original estimate; how often does that happen these days? All of our possessions arrived in good shape at the destinations for both of our moves.
Used them for a cross country move last year, and would recommend them. They were careful with our things, and communicated well.
5 star experience!! We had a great experience with Locatelli for our full home move. They packed everything with care, everything survived the move, and there were no surprises. The crew was very hardworking and respectful of our things. They came in under the quoted price. Highly recommend and would use them again.
