In their own words
We were very satisfied with the moving service we received. Our new home is over a ten-minute drive from our old one. The movers arrived promptly on the scheduled day and wasted no time in getting started after a quick assessment of the situation. Our old home was a second-floor apartment with no elevator, but the workers managed to move heavy items downstairs without any mishaps efficiently and professionally. They wrapped furniture in large soft cloths swiftly and skillfully before transporting them downstairs.
This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share my excellent experience with M.A.T. Movers. They helped me move on May 5, 2025, from a first-floor condo to a three-story townhouse—both in the same Chevy Chase, MD neighborhood. Yuri and his colleague did an OUTSTANDING and EFFICIENT job, working non-stop for six hours. The walk from my condo to the road was long, and at the new place, they carried all of my furniture and boxes up and down multiple flights of stairs.
I would totally recommend this service to anyone who wants to have stress free moving! Michael has not said no to anything to be moved, even if it wasn't packed. They were very efficient, friendly, patient and polite. Their pricing was very nominal compared to what other movers were charging. We lived on 4th floor with no elevator, and I did not hear any complaint from them, and they always had a smile on their face.
I recently had the pleasure of using M.A.T.Movers for my move from Gaithersburg, MD to Potomac, MD, and I couldn't be happier with their service. From the moment I contacted them, they were incredibly professional and accommodating. I was in a bit of a rush as the heating in my old house had gone down, but they were able to book a time for me quickly, which was a huge relief. On the day of the move, the team arrived on time and got straight to work.
