HOLD ON! Before you hire Major League Moving, let me tell you our story. This company was hired to load a moving truck through a third party, hireahelper.com They knew what the job was, had spoken to my husband prior to arriving at our house, walked thru the house upon arrival. After about an hour of working on loading boxes, one of the owners declared they were not being paid enough thru hireahelper.com and said they wouldn't be finishing the job. They told us they could load the 6 big pieces for another $200.
I would give zero if i could. I called about a move into a pod on friday. The owner said he could have his guys to me on thursday. So i stayed up late and killed myself to get my house package and they are a no show and won't asnwer the phone. Now i have to find someone esle to move the house into the pod for construstion to start on monday. Plus i sent my dog to the sitter today for nothing. We did speak and in fact you just spoke to me and asked to pay me to remove my review!
Not to mention all the shoddy and shady things this man does for the business, this person was my roommate, and I can tell you STAY VERY FAR AWAY!!!!! I hate to do this to somebody but he has yet to pay me for damages that I will explain …
Everything was wonderful when Simon was interested in my business as he he came highly recommended however, my furniture was left on its side in the middle of my construction on a concrete floor, I was charged a hoist fee without any pre-approval or proof of a hoist, my master bed headboard leg was broken in 2 and hidden in a box, and I was conveniently not provided a walk through by Simon who was onsite. However, none of which are my issue.
The 2 man crew showed up for our job where they were contracted to work hourly for 2 hours and started working. After about 20 minutes the “leader” said they weren’t being paid enough and told us they needed 40% more per hour and that they needed an up front deposit to continue. Given we were in the middle of unloading a truck with them, we had no choice but to agree to the price increase despite the fact that no rationale was given.
Wow, your wife set the move up with me the owner and I worked the job the leader you’re referring to is ME ! Your wife described it as 2 hours unloading boxes only into storage which is preserved on Facebook where she asked for recommendations and the public tagged us.
I don’t recommend this company. I spoke to this guy a couple of times. He was interested in helping me move my bed to a storage unit. I called this morning and he’s super rude to me and hangs up on me super unprofessional! And I highly do not recommend you go to this trash company!
He called on Father’s Day at 6pm and this year Father’s Day happened to be on a Sunday Lord as my witness. I told him sorry we can’t help !

Our contract is set up that way to ensure compensation for additional travel, labor, and expenses outside of, and in addition to the original bill of lading. We understand your frustration, however we must adhere to protocol that you signed and agreed to.

I had to make an emergency move in order to take advantage of a great deal presented to me in a new apartment. Major league moving was there for me when I needed, and i couldn't be happier with the service that I got. Simon and Leonard were the ones who personally took care of me. I showed them where everything was, and where I wanted it to go. They did exactly what I asked them to, with speed and efficiency. In an afternoon I had officially moved out all my furniture.

Very much appreciative of how allowance was given in adjusting or rescheduling date of moving household goods. No wasting time in getting move done right which was an exceptional and professional moving done well, fast, and efficient.
