I had Manasota Movers move me from one apartment to another’s less than 1/2 block. 2 bedroom small apartment.I had everything in totes ready to go. First off they got there at 8 as scheduled only 2 guys not 3 as I was told .0he of the guys was more interested one his phone or sitting in the back of the truck .This should have been a three hour move. But it took them 5 1/2 hours , broke a piece of furniture that got caught in a tarp, broke the mirror in my cabinet.
Hi Alice. We’re sorry you feel that you had a bad experience with us. We take all reviews, positive and negative seriously. As the owner, I review all situations and try our hardest to ensure every customer is satisfied with the services we provide.
WORST Moving experience of my life. Their movers were awful. We provided them with everything they needed and still had issues with our move. A custom piece of furniture fell of their truck and their "wizard" attempted a fix. They also broke one of our beds. Multiple other things were broken or damaged. If you have anything of value I highly suggest finding a company that has staff that cares about your belongings. Everything was put in a storage unit.
I would not recommend. Not flexible. Refused to give deposit back and wanted me to wait two weeks to move or forfeit deposit because my move got pushed back due to circumstances out of my control. REPLY: Your response to my review contains false statements. I did not schedule my move on a closing day. In fact, I scheduled my move days after my closing. Furthermore, your next availability was not the following week, it was TWO WEEKS later. Finally, I did not ask to for you to move other bookings.
Hi Daniel, we apologize you feel we were not flexible. You called us 4 weeks prior to your move and selected a day that worked for your schedule. We booked you for the day you requested. As we mentioned during your booking, we never recommend scheduling a move on a closing day.
I went from a turn key house to another turn key house. The house was 6 tenth of a mile away. I had most of the house in boxes most of the furniture was broken down. We moved half of the furniture to the new house and half back to the old. All the boxes and odds and ends were put in the garage and most of the furniture was staged to go back. The estimate was around $900 the bill was over $2000. I felt there was a lot of time wasted.

Rough, broke, banged, dropped my personal belongs. Even walked on my table! They argued amongst themselves. Very unorganized and just crammed things into storage! It was an awful experience 😭 …

The manasota team is professional from the pleasant person answering the phone and make arrangements to the 3 person team that arrived on time. They worked quickly and fit everything on the truck which I didn't think was possible. The were careful with my belongings and nothing was damaged. The entire team was very polite. Finally it was a great value. I would recommend to anyone needing moving services.

We have moved over 20 times with career relocation and retirement location moves. NO other mover has even come close to the service we received on our recent move with Manasota Movers. Every phase of the move was flawless. The process to get scheduled was very efficient; as well as the communication before, during, and after the move were outstanding. The men who did the actual move were kind, polite, respectful, and interactive with us. They were very client-centric.

Working with Manasota Movers was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. When I reached out to get an estimate, I was well-received and every question was answered with patience. I appreciated that once we were ready to proceed everything was sent over promptly and electronically. On move day, a member of the crew called when they were en route, and they arrived promptly at 8am.

I cannot say enough good things about this moving company! They arrived promptly and got right to it! No wasting time! I couldn’t believe how efficient they were - they came prepared and had everything they needed to make the move smooth and safe. There were 3 guys and they all seemed to work in such harmony together - each knew what the other was doing - outstanding teamwork! All my valuables were protected and not one thing was broken.
