Master Movers

I have used this moving company 3 times, and have never experienced anything like this. They wanted me to pay them before they finished the job and I've never paid before they finished. Spent over an hour going back and forth with the office because they increased my bill to over $700, in the middle of the move, disputing the original $571.

The AI video quote process was detailed, and pricing was given based on that process. The sale represenative was personable, promised no bait-and-switch fee increase. She said, "if anything we will refund or dridit you back small portion of the quote". Then, when move was completed, a manager got on the phone and doubled the price and demanded payment.

Absolutely terrible experience with this moving company. From start to finish, it was a disaster. The movers showed up late, handled my furniture carelessly, and several items were scratched or broken. They also took much longer than estimated and then tried to charge me extra for their own delay. Communication was awful — every time I called, I got the runaround or empty promises that someone would “call me back.” No one ever did.

If I could give this ZERO stars I would. Completed our relatively small move on the 21st of this month. My husband goes to look for his X-Box and it is no where to be found. Called them on the 22nd to inform them that this was missing and got told to wait through the weekend as it may have been in another box..(why would the movers put stuff in boxes? Its not their place and it makes no sense.) Called again Tuesday and, conveniently, no one answered or called back.

Please I warn you do not use these people. We were moving from Sarasota and storing our furniture in Fernandina Beach while our new home was built. The move out from Sarasota and the move to the storage bins were nightmares. Very young and not knowledgeable people. They quoted one thing (two trucks and and four people to unpack into the storage facility). They delivered one truck and two local guys who did not know what they were doing.

The problem we had with them was their claims processing system. They dropped a 83" TV while they were packing it. I heard them drop it. I filled out the claim form and submitted it successfully, or so they told me. I followed up everytime they asked me to refer someone to them and nothing. After a couple of months, they let me know they were having issues with staffing in the claims department so everything was backed up. I had to complete the form again.

Unfortunately, we did not have a 5 star experience with MASTER MOVERS. Walls were damaged at one location and the front door of my new home was also damaged. I was told the manager would contact me the following day to arrange to make the repairs. It has been 6 days and I have not received a call. In addition, 1 of the employees although very polite, definitely was brand new and did not seem to have the training that they claim is given to all new hires. Mike was excellent.

Thought it was going to be a good experience.. Even thought it was expensive. Well to my surprise the workers were pleasant and did a good job but the people in the office did everything they could do to rip us off... Every time one of their services was needed, not only were we charged premium price but they added on extra cost, on top of extra cost... THEY COST A FORTUNE!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME...I HOPE YOU DON'T FALL FOR IT TOO!! Such A RIP OFF !!!!
