The rating breakdown
1 of the 30 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Maryland Piano are one or two star.
Worked out from 30 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other listings in Columbia
1.5 percentage points higher than the middle of the 10 listings in Columbia we can publish a rate for.

In their own words
Just bought a beautiful Yamaha piano from Maryland Piano and had an amazing experience from start to finish! Phil and Nancy were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. They took the time to answer all my questions and helped me find the perfect piano for my home. You can really tell they’re passionate about what they do and care about matching each customer with the right instrument.
Thanks for the kind words. Just checking in to see how things are going and to schedule your first tuning. Thanks, Phil
Phil came and tuned my new-to-me *extremely* out of tune piano yesterday. To my delight, my piano is in great condition aside from the necessary tuning. Phil did an amazing job, despite my piano fighting him back a little. 😂 I am also appreciative that he explained that my piano will need another tuning soon because of how out-of-tune it was and, after that, it should be in pretty good shape. He provided an estimated timeline for when I should get it re-tuned as well.
Hi Lisa, Thanks much for your kind words. It was a pleasure meeting you and I'm glad I was able to help you with your piano. Please keep in touch. Phil
Phil and Maryland piano have been tuning out piano for years, after having delivered it in the first place. They are fun, on time, do an excellent job, and at a fair price. I love the mini-concert from Phil when the job is done!!
Maryland Piano is THE place for everything and anything having to do with a piano! A friend of mine found a piano on Craig's list for free, moving costs only. Phil, the owner, went to look at it for me and deemed it worthy although it needed some repairs. He then talked with the previous owners to schedule pick up of the instrument, took it to his shop, fixed it up, and delivered it to our home for incredibly reasonable (perhaps even cheap!) pricing.
