My recent move with Maya Van Lines was the worst experience. Damaged the arm rest for an antique chair as well as broke my marble coffee table. I filed a claim and was ignored and not responsive and eventually just gave up. I do not recommend anyone using them and go through hell like I did

I recently moved with Maya shipping Company from Atlanta to Illinois. It was an absolute nightmare. They picked my items up a week before my move According To the plan they should’ve gotten to me two days after I moved to Illinois. It took an additional seven days before I received my items I was given a runaround. The rep that entice me to work with this company pretty much disappeared into the woodwork.

Dear "Cool Person" We are sorry we failed to earn your business. The truth is that, like an airline increasing in capacity, our quotes can change from moment to moment. However, also like an airline, if you reserve a rate, you will be locked into that rate regardless of what may happen.
Move from Georgia to Maryland. Think the price was great but while unpacking realise our TV was broken and break front was broken and a few other things. All of which were package by them. The movers just simple said we should claim for them. After we claim they offer us 30 dollars for our damage furniture. Few weeks after we write back to the insurance company and they offer 60 dollars. In addition they took 2 extra days to deliver and did not call to update us.

Avoid at all costs. The recommendation of "TrustDale" is a farce. Our furniture took over a week to go from Atlanta to the Jacksonville, FL area. Every day I had to call to check on the delivery and received and excuse every time. On one occasion they told me they were an hour away but had problems. My load was sent to the Ft. Lauderdale area and sustained substantial water damage as the truck was emptied and reloaded. When the load finally arrived not all items (boxes) were delivered and they still can't them.
These are some of the most vile and evil people. They are trying to extort us for over $3k. Demanding money orders and cash payments or they will keep all of our belongings. Irreplaceable family heirlooms and all. My mother has nearly been sent to the hospital over her anguish. Truly a despicable company. I wish there were negative stars. I guess talking to lawyers will have to do.
