HORRIFIC. I used this company 6/2024 and gave 5 star review on google. So, naturally I would use them again. After calling around and negotiating my price (on a recorded line) they tried to DOUBLE my price. Price gouging was just the cherry on top. I called in the middle of my move to complain (on a recorded line and asked for a call back twice with no call back). Yes, Karen move but I can assure you it was that bad. Movers started at wrong location and tried to start my clock at wrong location.

Beware!!!!! Under quoted on packing service, ended up being double the quote!! Spilled paint during moving day, destroyed two rugs and damaged the house. Broke our TV. And the packed a knife without any padding, the knife poked out of the box and cut my husband’s hand while moving the box. Still no word on getting reimbursed for the rugs or TV, or damage to the house!!! It’s been nearly two month since the service. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!! RUN !!!

Moved from 1 bedroom to another 1 bedroom with 3 movers here in ventura. From start to finish - having the guys being 5'5, not running everywhere (as per contract), damaging materials (suitcase and a couple of sentimental items), and to top it off the branch manager calling me from a blocked number (not able to reach him back during the busiest period of the day). Please use your money and go elsewhere. This service was good 3 years ago but obviously had declined.

The movers were very polite but very unexperienced. The move took an excessive amount of time. There was no jogging in between as we were informed~ only slow walks from room to room. Furniture that had to be taken apart was not the same when placed back together. Primary bedroom vanity draw makes a screeching sound and a screw fell out when the drawer was opened a couple of times. I would never refer or advise anyone to use this company. False advertisement.

Our crew for the the second part of this move was Paul, Emmanuel and Philip. This Crew was outstanding, efficient and polite. We have never had a move go so smoothly as everything was marked and packed carefully so it made it easy to identify each box we unpacked. Called Meathead after a great experience moving our dental office. This was a domestic move and the team of Zach and Jerry were outstanding. Punctual, professional and exactly on bid. Protected all flooring, walls and moundings while wrapping and moving all furnishings and electronics with care. Will definitely use Meathead again.
The crew did a fantastic job performing our local move. They were incredibly respectful to us and all of our belongings. They asked questions and worked well as a team. We were impressed by how energetic they were even at the end of a very long day. We would highly recommend the Meathead Movers team.
