I would give Zero stars if I could. I hired Merit Moving systems not realizing that it was going to hire a third party to actually do my move. They hired a company that lost 17 boxes out of 35 and then only found 12 out of the 17 .There are still 5 boxes missing and 2 of them were large wardrobe boxes. I should probably check Ebay to see who is selling all of my clothes and shoes.
I hate doing this because the manager and office staff were amazing. However upon arrival many of my boxes were crushed.i mentioned it several times to the movers and no response. They just ignore you. My dad said it looks like they jumped …

Great service from start to finish. Joe Almieda handled my estimate. Super cool guy, we started with a facetime walkthrough of my house which lasted about an hour. Because I had a lot of unusual and oversized items in my garage he later came to my house for an in-person assessment. He was thorough and took the time to evaluate everything properly. I got several estimates from other companies and they all came in around the same weight range.

Edit July 18. After posting my initial review, my moving team kicked into action and I ended up getting my things July 10th which was after the guaranteed date, however I’m happy to report that everything arrived safely (maybe a few bumps and scratches but that’s to be expected) and they packed things really well. The driver was very communicative once he was on his way.
