In their own words
I hired Midas to move my 2 bedroom apt from Decatur to Lawrenceville. They arrived late and sent 3 people rather than the 2 I requested. When they unloaded my furniture, one of the movers told me they had scratched my dresser but he had notified the company and they would send someone to repair it. The dresser had not been wrapped well and there was a huge scrape in the top of it from where it had been placed in the truck. When the repair person came out he said the dresser was not repairable.
HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! I’m not sure if it’s all members of the company or just Taylor, but please save yourself the trouble and find another company. Yes I needed assistance last minute, but she verbally said they could help but switched up last minute. The banter back and forth was quite unnecessary and I don’t understand how someone could be so rude. I responded in 20 minutes but that wasn’t fast enough for her. I even have the conversation recorded.
Terrible company to work with. They broke my dining table and then stole the base of the table. They then promised to pay me back the full value of the table in a written contract. Taylor then blocked my phone number and disappeared.
UPDATE: This company has decided to respond to this review with lies. I have ONLY used this company ONE time, and this is the result. Damages that they do not wish to repair. I was never offered anything for the "quarter sized damage" they have now stated accountability for. Additionally, the contractor who provided the quote for the flooring just informed me that he is not with their insurance company as they have LIED about in our correspondence and now in their response to this review, he states that the owner…
We’ve moved you twice with no issues. Also, moved out your old appliances and installed the new appliances for you. Although you did NOT mention those services being added when we confirmed your move, we did that as a courtesy because … More
Furniture and appliances were damaged. I was told someone would contact me for repairs, but no one ever did. Very disappointed. Two of the movers were very kind and polite, the other one was very rude with a terrible attitude.
They do DO NOT HAVE FULL INSURANCE do not use them if you are moving expensive furniture. They wrote a contract that they would pay me back then they blocked my phone # when it was time to pay. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
The bed they put together started fallen apart and my daughter's tv was broken in the move. A couple days after move I was block from Taylor's number and no one is replying to my messages on thumbtack anymore …
Hello, I forwarded your claim to the insurance. I told you, that once they take over for the claim that they will be in contact and it’s out of our hands. Upon the investigation, We cannot not take responsibility for your bed because it was missing several pieces.
I was given a quote, was told a job could be completed the following day or on Sunday. I was told someone would follow up with me in 45 minutes to tell me when it could be completed. …

I didn’t get a chance to leave a review after my first experience with this company, but O M G… I’m sold that this is the only company I’ll call for my moving needs. In October 2023 they moved furniture from within my home into my garage for storage purposes. I called the week of and they fit me in. Then today in June 2024, they did a pickup of a furniture order from the store and delivered it to my home and put it together.
