We worked with them as Motivated Movers. If someone from Wirks wants to make this right, please reach out. Do not do business with this company. They have no insurance to fix anything that gets damaged. Please read all reviews. We hired them to move our furniture when we had our hardwoods refinished. When putting the furniture back in the home, they damaged the new hardwoods. It was pretty minor, in the grand scheme of things. We were told to file an insurance claim, which we did.

Edit: They responded to this review. I emailed them like they asked and they have yet to respond. They’re not interested in fixing this. They will ruin your things and ghost you. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. DO NOT USE THEM. First of all they showed up super late. They do not wrap your things like their website advertises. They wrecked our stuff. We used them to help us move in December. We were quoted half of what we were actually charged. They broke a post off of our bed.

I do not recommend at all, moved a 1 bedroom and it took over 7 hours. I was over charged one guy was smoking on the job. My mattress is is ripped, most of my furniture is scratched, my sofa was ripped, and my dining table is completely broken. Filed for them to fix it but now I am blocked I really want my money back. I felt completely taken advantage of and their owner could care less

We hired motivated movers for a local move. We hired them to do the packing for downstairs rooms and for them to do the actual move the following day. During the move, one of the movers dropped one of my items onto the concrete walkway. The item was an ultrasound machine worth an estimated $1800. The guy was apologetic and said it was his fault for rushing and not holding it securely. I had purchased the insurance coverage up to $10,000 for the move and the moving guys assured me I would be taken care of.

Be careful in choosing this company as their attention to detail and caring of your property is mismanaged. They didn’t wrap items in blankets to protect them and just stacked items on and under one another. This was a 9 mile move…..No accountability for broken items, damage to move out home property and overall service. Giving two stars is generous at this point as we’ve yet to receive settle up payment for damaged goods during move.

Terrible experience. They were late and moved like turtles. Took them 7 hours to do a 3 hour job. It was very clear they were trying to take as long as possible. I called the manager, Kevin, and haven’t heard back from him. It’s very disappointing. And then on top of that they just threw stuff in the house. I can’t not even explain how terrible of an experience I had. I’ve used them before and they were GREAT, but something has changed since then! UPDATE: while I was given a $200 refund my review still stands.

UPDATE: They responded to my review admitting they damaged our furniture and admitting to the Court Order, but still call us liars and have refused to reimburse us per the Court Order... so we're going to ask the Court to hold them in contempt and apply interest and all other penalties allowed by law. Nothing like altering a Contract after the fact & without client consent, damaging property, ignoring a Court Order and calling your clients liars to build a loyal customer base. Not a smart move!

Please never use them and made mistake we did. Rushed and Damaged multiple items, took chunks out of walls and dropped door of fridge after spending and charging me for 2 hours when they were confused on how to get in door. . Kevin, manager at Woodstock admitted fault and then dodged calls and didn’t repair. Tried for months to get them to repair with no success.
