Service was great, customer service is subpar. Midway contacted me two days after my move and communicated that they found some of my items that they left in their warehouse. They delivered the next day, later than they communicated. I communicated that there were at least two additional missing boxes. Midway confirmed that I should filed a claim and so I did July 3. Today July 22 I contacted them again to confirm status of the claim because no one has contacted me. Of course I got no answer so I left a voicemail.

I referred a friend to Midway Moving and Storage based on my own past experience, but unfortunately, her experience was disappointing. She didn’t have much to move, yet she was quoted the exact same price I paid despite having significantly fewer items. She spoke with a man named Charles, who was extremely rude and dismissive during their conversation — not what you’d expect from a professional service.

Overcharged for Moving Services I received a written estimate from your company for my move, which clearly stated that the job was expected to take approximately 7 hours. The estimate was based on a detailed room by room evaluation. No rooms were omitted. To my surprise, I was billed for packing services that were not requested, disposal services that were not requested, an extra stop, and nearly double the amount of labor listed in the quote.

Moved my piano, destroying the front steps, and throwing concrete slabs in the bushes, as documented in the video. They rejected the insurance claim because of a waiver they said was signed. They’ve produced no waiver in response to my request. IT’S DOCUMENTED ON VIDEO! Stay away from this moving company.

Zero stars if I could. We were quoted $1,250 after a full video walkthrough — our final bill was $3,500. That alone warrants a warning to anyone considering Midway Moving. Worse, $300 cash was stolen from my purse by a crew member during the move. The money was meant as a tip for the team. They acknowledged and offered a $300 discount to compensate, but you can't put a number on the discomfort of knowing people who stole from you have access to everything you own.
