In their own words
After reading these glowing reviews, I hired Marion's company to pack breakables, books and an end table magazine rack. Linda did the packing and shipping. It was uneventful until the items arrived from Chciago to New York City. Many paintings were placed together with very thin bubble wrap; most of the glass and frames were broken and damaged. An antique teapot was broken in half; it came without any wrapping. My favorite packing story made me and others laugh.

Great organization, great people. Moving Day Ready moved my mother from her condo and into the Oak Park Arms. They were on time, very careful with items, very courteous and a pleasure to work with. I’m definitely using them for my next move.
Moving day ready did exactly that…they packed me up so I could move with greater ease. They did a fabulous job and were trustworthy, friendly, helpful, proactive, efficient, and I could go on and on about how wonderful they are! Highly recommend!
I’m rating them 5 stars because I can’t give a higher rating! The experience was fabulous and easy for me all the way through. Bridget did a great job of packing everything up for me as well as taking extra care of family heirlooms while packing them up. The move from the house to the condo was well organized and went smoothly. Since I was downsizing, the movers checked with me many times on items that I was choosing to leave behind just to make sure nothing was forgotten.
Moving Day Ready did a terrific job of moving me between two Senior Care facilities. Lynn Olson and her team are friendly, but tackle the job in a really serious, focused, organized and sequential manner. It was challenging getting out of the home facility as there was only one Maintenance worker and my possessions were both in storage and in a very confined room space. Regardless, we were out of there in record time.
