Vroom Vroom Movers

I set up an appointment with this company for a standard move that included standard residential appliances ( Note: Residential and not commercial appliances). After speaking with who I presume to be the owner he asked a few questions on the size of the unit. I gave a detailed list of house hold items and residential appliances to be moved with the exception of a massage chair. Once a price with the additional increment for every half hour overage beyond the initial 2 hours was established.

Last week we hired these company to move our 1 bedroom, den and 2 bathroom apartment from River North to South Loop and these movers were HORRIBLE! It took them over 5 hours to move already packed boxes and a couch and 1 bed moved them to the new place and the only reason it didn’t take longer was because we helped with the actual move; Which we were assured we wouldn’t have to lift a finger.

This company have lazy workers. They purposely drag to get more money out of you. They like to stand around outside and talk. They also came late and like to start the time early. I would never recommend this company. I already had disassemble my bed and dresser and they still took thier time and damage some of my dresser. I spent $381.00 . They also charge me an extra $47.00 for 10mins. Then one of the workers had the nerve to sit on my couch. Then one of the workers told me to delete the review!!!!!!!!

Found this company on Craigslist for a standard move and thought their pricing was reasonable. Paid a deposit upfront and provided a list of items that would need to be moved (fridge, bed, dining room table, etc.). Before the move was completed, they asked for the rest of the payment - $300 more than we were quoted. Because of the heavy items….that were listed out prior to the move, when we should have been made aware of any additional charges.

They sent the worst movers and they were standing still while we loaded. They did 3 hours work for 6 hours with our help. And they threw all stuff on the way and kept everything in garage and ran away with our money. Being pregnant we thought we are hiring professionals to avoid anything to be lift by ourselves. But we paid money and we moved ourselves. The owner told once the money paid they will keep everything inside, but after we paid they ran away with our money keeping things in hallway and garage.

Terrible. Sent a list of items to be moved, they came with a truck that was too small for all of the furniture. Not all furniture was moved. Items not put back together after delivery. Movers acted like the job was a pain. Worst of all, one …
