I liked our movers and the job they did, but I'm disappointed by how they are handling a damage claim. One of the movers accidentally put a large dent in our wall (accidents happen - not upset by that). He took a picture, apologized, and said someone would be in touch shortly to get it fixed. Weeks passed without hearing anything, so I tried to call. I left a text message and a voicemail with no response.
Would not recommend. I booked several weeks out. I received calls and emails the few days leading up to my move. They were to start at 9:30 am. 8 :45 amDay of move I received a phone call. Most of the crew called in sick, but they would try to get another contractor to fill in. I received a phone call from another moving company, but they were booked and trying to fit me in it's now 4pm. I have no idea if I will have any help. I have called Modern Movers several times. No call back. Very poor business practice.
Booked with this company yesterday and I was sent a confirmation that they would be there between 9 AM and 10 AM today. Called them a little after 10 And they said they were running behind and would be there by noon. It is now 3 o’clock and …
Booking the day before a move & after office hours will not be found until we open the morning of when we open @9am. We were not aware of this client booking until the next morning as they had scheduled while we were closed & the day before.
I hired modern movers to move my dad out of his house on 11-2-25. Got a confirmation that everything was set and they would be here between 9-10 am on Sunday. Got a phone call from k&k movers at almost 10 am move day they said Sam canceled …

I called the day before, late on Friday afternoon, needing an emergency move the following day. Andrew answered the phone and he was so friendly and professional. He was able to squeeze me in the next day at a very convenient time for me. It was such a relief. Two of the movers arrived right on time the next day and did a magnificent job. The gentlemen’s names are Brandon and Sean. They are brothers and worked so well. They carefully packed every single thing in heavy packing paper and sturdy cardboard boxes.
I am a single mom of 5 boys and I needed something cheap while still maintaining a level of professionalism. I absolutely got this with Modern Moving. Extremely communicative. Punctual. Efficient. Honestly I had been stressing about this move for weeks and when they were all done I honestly felt like what was the big deal. They made it so easy. Don't get me wrong. Moving sucks no matter what you do, but they really made the actual moving and logistical process very simple they handled everything.
I highly recommend Modern Moving! Everyone I interacted with was highly professional, organized, and Extremely helpful. My movers were AMAZING! Sherman, Arizona, and Marcus successfully packed and transported my hoard of possessions up and down multiple stairs, and got the job done in no time. I never could’ve done it without them! I think this is the very first time in my life that I have moved and not one single thing broke. Thank you Modern Moving. PS The price they quoted me came out exactly correct.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Modern Moving! Kyle and Kyle were our movers, and they did an amazing job. They were friendly, professional, hardworking, and incredibly careful with all of our belongings. They made what could have been a very stressful moving day so much easier! We truly appreciate how efficiently they worked while still taking the time to make sure everything was handled with care.
