Beware of hiring this company for your move. I thought I was hiring a reputable company. I was told that all my furniture would be wrapped but they only wrap certain items. They did damaged some of my furniture and didn't wrap it until after it fell off the lift gate on the truck. They (Will) wanted payment before the job was done and said if it took less time then what they estimated they would recalculate and refund the difference.
I just moved last week using Movemates. The communication was good until the move in day , but when we asked for the claim for damaged furniture and refund for the deposit, the communication was cut off . They said higher price than the estimate they provided on move in day and told us that they will give us refund for the deposit . After the service, they do not respond via phone call and email which was really disappointing. This is scammed. I will never use this place again.
MoveMates use Deceptive Practices and has rude customer service: All moving was completed within the 3-hour minimum, however the charged me for 4-hours. The $100 DEPOSIT I paid was not refunded or applied to the actual cost. $700 to move 2 college students 2.5 miles down the street is excessive. They quoted me $450-$500, I ended up paying $700.00 "BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE" all I ask for was my deposit refunded.
Do not ever use this company. Movers asking to go on dates. Scratched up my walls, broke my bed, broke my lamp. Added extra charges to what they claimed was a flat rate, and the same movers tryna flirt hounding for tips the entire move, please never ever use this company.
