Movers Long Beach

Terrible experience. I communicated before booking that I was on a time constraint. The crew arrived almost 2 hours late with poor communication and false excuses about delays. They came unprepared with no proper tools, no moving blankets, and even asked to borrow my drill and plastic bags. Several walls were damaged due to careless handling, and they were sloppy and unprofessional throughout the move.

Recently, my family used this company to move several household items, furniture, clothes, etc. from a storage facility in Long Beach to a residence in Los Angeles. During the pickup at the storage facility, a valuable bicycle was stolen off of the truck. Since this item was on this company’s truck, we expected compensation for what was stolen. However, the company refuses reimbursement for our loss. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed in that decision.

DO NOT move with this company. I moved with them recently and had a terrible experience. There's poor communication between the office and the actual movers. I moved from my old place, stopped at a storage unit to pick up more of my things, and then to a new place. This was well established on the phone with them and in my follow up confirmations.

I do NOT recommend this company. When booked service & explained needs, was told ‘yes’ to everything. When the crews actually came, they did not carry out my requests. Crew leaders seemed annoyed, most of the men ignored labels on boxes (ex: kitchen, fragile). Due to time restrictions on elevator use for move out, a second day was planned. The crew arrived an hour late, cutting into available elevator time. This altho they had been told further packing was needed.

I had a mixed experience with this move. The movers themselves were professional and got my items from Long Beach to Culver City without any major issues. They were very quick and efficient. My biggest concern was an unexpected $400 charge for “double drive time.” I reviewed my contract and could not find any mention of a double drive time fee. I was also charged for 1.5 hours of drive time each way.

The guys were really nice. But not the best service. They forgot to pack a couple of cabinets worth of stuff which I paid extra for them to do. I asked if I needed to take anything in my car and they said no so they shoved all my plants into a small box which complete destroyed them. I had a couple lego flowers and they destroyed them as well. Because the time went over the minimum the cost was over 2x the price than what I thought it was going to be.

This was our second time using this moving company, and the difference in quality was extremely disappointing. The movers were careless and reckless with our belongings, resulting in damage to multiple appliances. They also lost a screw from our refrigerator door, which now does not function properly. The level of professionalism and care we experienced during our first move was completely absent this time.

I called them to move on June 30th and relayed this deadline up front and asked them if they're available. They required me to give them all the details on what we've moving, send them pictures of my "oversized furniture" and made me jump through several hoops to get a quote. Finally they told me that June 30th is completely booked so no possible availability. Despite the good reviews this is the worst moving company I've ever used. What a waste of time.
