Zero stars for this "moving company"! Showed up 2 hours late, my boyfriend had to help them move some of our furniture and boxes because one guy was just hanging out in the truck while one guy is trying to move everything. The one guy that was moving broke my table and the company didn't want to pay for it. The 2nd guy finally came to help but was in our bathroom for at least 10-15 minutes. He seemed like he was on something and once we finally loaded up the truck he was swerving and jumped the medium!!!
My wife texted the number to receive a quote for removal of junk couches and a mattress. Not moving them, JUNKING them, which is advertised by the business as a service they provide. One couch, one love seat, and a full size mattress/box spring was all we needed removed. We were descriptive of this when asking for the quote. Whoever runs the phone line replied and said $280. The guys show up, load up our 4 things in about 15 minutes, and then asked for the address of where they were moving it to.
We do apologize for the inconvenience of the miscommunication between the office & team member. We would of gladly took care of it at the time of the process. We are strong in taking care of the customers needs. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
All those glowing reviews seem misleading. I wish I had checked Yelp before hiring this company, since my experience was similar to what they described. One of their employees, who smelled strongly of weed, ended up damaging nearly everything he handled. I went through their claims process only to discover they don’t actually reimburse for damaged furnitures; instead, they offer a minimal payout of about 60 cents per pound. So you can literally get $30 for a $350 dresser and they "dispose" of the damaged stuff.
Reviews are not misleading. Some people are harder to please then others. Some people have unrealistic expectations. Some, no matter how you try to resolve a situation. They would rather argue then find a solution. Some would rather try to make you look bad instead of finding a solution.
We spoke to Robert the owner and ge gave a great speech about how great his team was. The young men were respectful however they da n.v aged my wall and a part if my furniture was missing they just stopped and walkout in the middle of the move I called Robert and he was if very little help as well as nicole...I will never recommend this company. Sorry not sorry
NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVING SERVICES!!!! I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR, BUT I HAVE TOO!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! It was the biggest mistake of my life. Moving can be a very stressful process and this company made it worse than it could have been. I hired them to move a two bedroom, which we had all packed up and in the garage for them to load. FIRST, they were 4 1/2 hours late with no phone call what so ever. I had to call them to find out where they were.
Horrible company. Had a quote where I told the owner to give me an estimate which I said I won't hold him to an exact amount for a 3 bedroom apartment them packing everything and he said $625-800 worst case scenario. Guys showed up and got to work. All in all ended up being 7-8 hours, in which my wife and I did about 40% of the packing ahead of time and transportation they said they would do,a total of $1400 and a damaged stainless steel fridge that they swore they didn't do.
Sir, you are a person that orders a whole meal. Eats everything on the plate, lick your fingers. Then turn around and say you don't like the food. Listened to you curse me out for over 30 minutes. Never said a disrespectful thing back to you. How can you receive services, give a tip.
I received services today for my move from Windcrest to Universal City. I have used other movers in different locations but none like this. I was quoted $150 an hour plus a one time travel fee of $60. I mentioned I was moving on a military installation and they stated that was fine I assumed they had base access because they did not explain they would need to be signed/escoted in. In my previous moves the drivers have pause the time during travel between locations but that does not happen with this company.
If there was a problem you should call the office. Thank you for the review as this matter could of been handle differently. If you have a complaint the phone lines are always open. Now you may not get the answer you want to hear but we did give good service.
Do Not Hire Them! This company will definitely take advantage. We decided to go with them due to some good reviews but they were a huge disappointment. We were quoted a different price while shopping around and were told we'd get more than 2 guys. Robert told us they'd show up at 11 which was perfect for us and painted us a pretty picture. We specifically told him we had a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 big beds and couches. Well they text me after 10 pm saying they were showing up at 9 am.

Smooth, Stress-Free Experience! I recently used Moving Forward for my move, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I contacted them for a quote, the communication was prompt, professional, and friendly. On moving day, the crew showed up right on time and got to work immediately. They were careful with my furniture and treated everything with respect—nothing was damaged or scratched, which was a big relief.
4.5 STARS!! I had a great experience with these movers and greatly appreciated the upfront and transparent pricing. $150/hr + $60 travel fee w/min2hrs. No extra hidden fees tacked on for blankets used to cover my mirrors, or cuz I live on the 2nd floor. These guys had a tall task dealing with moving my furniture navigating my horrendous state of my old apt from deep depression.

I recently moved to Texas from Va and the moving company I had was a nightmare and I was scared to use any other moving company because of what happened with the last company. So I came home from work and found a flyer on my door from moving forward, I looked at the reviews and they were ALL GREAT so I decided to contact them and I must say they are THE BEST , Mr Robert stayed in contact with me , he explained everything and gave me the amount it would be to move and the prices was good .
What an incredible moving company! You should definitely hire Moving Forward for whenever and wherever you need to move. I have moved several times over the years for work. Moving Forward is the best moving experience I have ever had. These gentlemen are affordable, efficient, punctual, professional, polite, and personable! I originally planned to rent a truck and have one company load, drive myself to my new location, and have another company unload. The day before my move all plans fell a part.
