All My Sons Moving & Storage

They moved me on 4/10/24. They broke countless items, demanded another 3k for second trip from Carrollton to Flower Mound. After I refused I had to go get a uhaul to move the rest of my belongings. They were rude, laughing and talking about my Mother and I in spanish. Once they finally arrived to my new home, the tried to extort me for another $300 to unpack my belongings off of the truck.

We hired All my sons moving for July 20th and to have them store our stuff until July 28th. We worked with David Budler (sales) which was a huge mistake. He was not part of anything other than when I signed and as far as customer service went was awful. He even stopped taking my phone calls. On the move out they damaged the walls of the home and stairs as they didn’t do anything to protect either one.

We had a terrible experience with this company. I've moved many times and never had such an experience. I would recommend avoiding this company. Their business model is built on hidden fees. We called a bunch of movers to get quotes. We chose All My Sons based on the hourly quote we received - remember that. When they show up, they make a point not to discuss costs. They want to save that for when they have your things loaded up in their truck.

I am utterly shocked to see this business has 4.5 stars. I want to preface this by stating the company DID give us a partial refund as we requested in the end, but if you read any review of this company, I firmly believe it should be this one before you make a final decision on which moving company you choose. I also want to state that our family are seasoned movers - my husband served in the US Army for 17 years and we have dozens of moves under our belt over the last 25 years.

0/10 HORRRRRRRIBLE There were so many issues with this company. Many of my items were damaged due to how the movers packed the truck. They packed heavy boxes on top of my dresser drawers and glasses, resulting in holes in my wood drawers and broken glass. While going to lock up to U-Haul, I realized that they stacked my 55' and 58' TVs on top of each other in the front seat of the U-Haul. Because they were stacked, the leg of one of the TV's stabbed the screen of the other one, resulting in damages to the screen.

Stay away. While the movers were nice on the day of, pray they don't break anything of yours. They fully broke a leg off my credenza during the move, and while I paid for additional insurance up to $5000, they are refusing to cover less than A THIRD of what it would cost to fully repair or replace. The credenza cost me $750 and they came back with zero communication beyond a contract to sign that said they'd be willing to give me $240.

I Didn’t Even Make It to Moving Day — and I Already Dodged a Bullet I originally called All My Sons four days ago and was quoted $159 for two men for two hours. No mention of fuel fees. No “mandatory” travel charges. No fine print, no disclaimers — just a seemingly straightforward rate. Laura, Brian, and Scott all confirmed the same pricing. Conveniently, the original quote link is now expired — so there’s no proof of what I was promised. How convenient. Fast forward to today: Carlos calls to confirm everything.

I have multiple damaged items after using All My Sons. I have a giant tear in my upholstered couch, broken legs on my dining and coffee tables, smashed piano bench, shattered glass desk, multiple dents in my new refrigerator. I witnessed them dragging furniture down my driveway, shoving, smashing furniture in the truck so it would fit. They are careless with your belongings. I have thousands of dollars worth of furniture left in shambles. They charged me $4,300 to move.
