If you’re considering this company for your move, let me save you the headache: don’t. I’ve moved a dozen times—cross-country, military, civilian you name it—and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. 1. Initial Quote: Misleading and Deceptive Problems started with the estimator, Fernando. He confidently provided a quote & assured me it was accurate, claiming additional charges would only apply if we decided to move big, unexpected items.

I’ve used this company in New York. They quoted me a price after I zoomed twice to assure all my belongings were listed. Day of the move they says the truck was too small and would need another truck to haul the furniture. Mind you, nothing was added to my list of furniture. They wrote up another contract and said if I didn’t sign they would have to leave my furniture behind. I called customer service before I signed and was told to sign and then fill out a claim. I was charged an extra $2,000!

I had a terrible experience with Neatly Moving & Storage during a cross-country move. They picked up my belongings and promised delivery within 5-7 days, but it took a full month. They were consistently dishonest about the location of my items and charged numerous fees that they had explicitly said over the phone would not be charged When I called to get updates on my furniture, Joan (assistant to the manager) was extremely unhelpful and disrespectful.

Friendly and easy going when making the quote, quite the different tone when checking in about shipment or payment. I could have tolerated all that, had it not been for the way my stuff was (not) taken care of. Books were all over the place in the truck, stuff was out of boxes (as the pics show), and a broken lamp, which Shleppers Movers wrapped and packed (they’ve only packed the lamp).

Neatly Moving & Storage handled my mother’s and my move, and it was a complete disaster. They were dishonest from the start and treated our belongings with zero care. Three separate boxes arrived damaged My mother repeatedly called them asking when our items would actually show up. Every time she got the same vague, unhelpful non-answers. No transparency, no accountability, just runaround. I would never recommend Neatly Moving & Storage to anyone

Eddie, Jose, and Chris were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient from start to finish. They stepped in to complete the packing that my family and I weren’t able to finish and worked with impressive focus and care. The way they carefully padded my items and strategically loaded the truck — making sure to maximize the space so I was charged appropriately and not for unused room — truly did not go unnoticed. What stood out most was their consistency.

From start to finish my move from Los Angeles, CA to Colorado Springs, CO went perfectly thanks to Fernando, Joan, Richard and Sherri! Fernando helped get me the estimate and walked me through the whole process without feeling pressured or “sold”. He was very thorough and straightforward. On my move out day Richard, Sherri and Jeffrey were very efficient and professional. During the transport Joan and Sherri kept me updated, which was very appreciated considering the long move.
