I would never use New Planet again. We had a nightmare dealing with them from start to finish. My checkbook went missing during our move, and the box it was in arrived opened and re-taped. Someone cashed two checks, stealing nearly $700. Many of our other things did not arrive and one (a phone) has been discovered in a parking lot an hour north of us in the direction the movers were headed when they left our apartment. Salesperson Jason Koot promised to only charge us based upon actual weight of our goods.
Tyler, We do apologize that you felt we did not provide you with the best customer service we could have. We are consistently training our staff on the best ways to deal with all situations that can arise when moving.
In the summer of 2018, I moved from California to Missouri. The month before I was to move, I signed a contract with New Planet Moving CO to move all my belongings. Traccy Hill, moving company representative e-mailed with an estimate and assured that everything would go smoothly. When the moving truck arrived, the driver started arguing with me that he does not agree with the estimate given and will not start loading unless I agree to increase my payment by almost $3,000.
Worst experience ever! Lost thousands of dollars worth of stuff and received $24 back. What an insult! My wife and I just got married and were moving to our new home. We wanted to make a honey moon out of it and was promised it would take a month for everything to get out there (due to it being rare for them to go there). So we planned a honeymoon road trip. We were called and told that they would be out here 2 weeks earlier than what we were promised or we can go another month of not getting it.
They lied several times over the phone of the type of truck they were bringing and ended up on charging me for the the truck they had to rent to get to my property. They were late. Then it took the legal full 2 weeks to get my stuff.. only to have my couch ripped and them tell me I was over my weight estimate but was never given any document showing any weights... when I complained to the owner offered me $50 and sent me a contract saying I couldn't speak badly of them if I accepted their $50. I declined.

One star is still to much credit! If you are not in a hurry for your stuff, don't want your stuff or want it damaged you have picked the right movers! I used them just glad I bought insurance with another company. This company is terrible. …
I wish I could give no stars. They called me three days before my move and asked me to change my date. When I told them I am supposed to leave town before the day they wanted me to move, I got major attitude from the dispatcher, who's name …
