Triple 7 Movers

Don't bother. They have 3-4 separate profiles on Google maps, so beware... Honest updates: 6/5 - Got a call notifying us the movers would arrive between 7-9am to pick up our belongings. We were very proactive with packing up our things beforehand (highly recommend), so the entire process took no more than one hour. 2 movers packed our things and loaded them up onto the truck, while Esteban took the time to go over the "paperwork" with his ipad. After going over some of the items, he took a few signatures from me.

In July, I hired Triple 7 Movers to move my household goods from North Las Vegas, NV to Chesterfield, MI. Coordinating, packing and pickup of my household goods was satisfactory. Unfortunately, that’s where the satisfactory service ended. Was informed at pickup that the company would inform me when the shipment departed Las Vegas and was approximately 7 days from delivery in MI. I waited more than 14 days without hearing from the company regarding the status of my goods.

They sounded great at first—beat every quote we had for our move from Seattle to Las Vegas. We signed, and on moving day they suddenly claimed the price was $2,000 higher and that the truck might not even be big enough. The woman originally told us we’d be sharing a truck, yet ours ended up completely full. Then the payment chaos started. They wouldn’t take our check, argued about it, finally accepted it—only for the delivery crew two days later to refuse another check and demand cash.

The packers were nice the boxes sat for over a week at a warehouse, didn’t receive our belonging for a week and a half after moving to another state which was Texas from Washington state. Didn’t know to check off boxes that were apparently numbered once the movers brought in our belongings from the truck. We are missing a box or possible 2 having to repurchase kitchen bowls and missing a lot of other items.

*Booking I booked Triple 7 in June for a July 9th moving date from Vegas to New York. I was moving from a one-bedroom apartment. They were the second-cheapest option out of 6 companies. I spoke with Jason, who told me that it would likely take 7-10 days. He stated, contractually they are obligated to deliver within 21 business days or 31 actual days, but he assured me, that was only a worst case scenario. To be safe, I moved up my pick-up window a few days from July 13th to July 9th.

I was moving from one end of Las Vegas to the other, not very far away from a one bedroom to a two bedroom. I asked them to be extra careful with my two TVs because my last movers my big TV was broken shattered. Right away, I saw that they were very rough handling my furniture, actually dropped one of the boxes and everything fell out.

I would not recommend this company. A couple reasons: 1. I packed most of my things except large furniture which included a tv and antique hutch with glass. The hutch is very sentimental and unfortunately the glass broke. I understand things break during a move but with this being one of the only fragile things they packed themselves, this was disappointing and I am so thankful I packed all of my other belongings. Will post an update with how the claims process goes.

My 74 year old husband and I hired Triple 7 Movers to move us from Las Vegas to Tallahassee Florida back in late August. They stored our home until we let them know where to move it. Instead of Triple 7 Movers bringing our home to us, they hired a long haul driver, who in turn hired two young men from job corps to help him unload our belongings to storage in Tallahassee.
