UPDATE 8/7/25: I have to go from 5 stars to 1 star, 0 if I could. My storage was broken into twice. Had the insurance they require but guess what? They wouldn't cover anything because I wasn't notified until I found the break in. There were police reports but the insurance requires to report within 48 to 72 hours. The insurance requires receipts of everything and pictures of you with you items that were stolen. Lost well of 5k worth of items not to include items that were family heirlooms passed down.

Our first storage unit had a hole in the side you could see light through. We moved our stuff to a different unit. The second unit had a leak in the roof. Ruined some of our stuff. The office said it would be fixed ASAP. They told they fixed the roof, but it turned out they "fixed it" with duct tape! See pics below. Two weeks later, still leaking (of course) and ruined some more of our stuff. Complained again.
I’ve been a customer here for over a year and had no issues until about a month ago. My lock was cut off two separate times and the second time someone had gone through my things and stole stuff. I called to report it only to get a shitty apology and attitude from customer service. There was a wasp nest forming on top of the unit and the manager said he would take care of it, came back to check my unit to discover the wasp nest was now bigger and even broke off and fell as I was trying to slowly close my unit back…

If you value your stuff don't bring it here all the bums and trailer park people break into this place every night and the staff give zero Fs if you get robbed they just tell you call your insurance sorry and that call sometimes takes week to get they have no security or plan to get any the only camera is the one at the entrance all the cars and campers have been broken into I don't doubt there are homeless people living in them no one checks on the lot at night

Worst storage company I have ever dealt with since they sold to a California corporation! Avoid like the plague! Raised rates twice but security is terrible, no onsite person anymore. Late fees assessed when their system is the reason the payment didn’t get processed! Move to another storage unit for less money, onsite personnel and much more secure!

SCAM! WARNING! I rented from Northside storage June of 2019. The reason you get a storage is to have access to your stuff. But at Northside storage they want you to pay them to not have access to your stuff. I rented the unit on the 6th and by the eighth my gate code wouldn't open the gate. I would recommend you go someplace else

Paid only about $170 for 4 months. I got help from Marvin whenever questions came about. And the groundskeeper even held off a family gathering to get me my lock and keys within 1 hour of request. This place was awesome.
