In their own words
No-show, no response, no basic decency I booked Smooth Carriers to unload our moving truck at our new home in Pueblo. They confirmed the job. On moving day, no one showed up. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly. No one answered. No call back. No apology. No explanation. Their failure left us stranded with heavy furniture and boxes while our only help was our senior parents, my aunt, and young cousins, with our 1- and 2-year-old children there.
My move with Smooth Carriers did not go smoothly. First, my bill for the move was roughly double what they quoted. They did not bring the proper size truck on moving day and had to get a second one. This could have been avoided if they simply came to my house to see what would be moved when they quoted. Several items apparently didn’t make it on the truck. Third, my expensive dining room table was damaged. I had to get a furniture repairman to do the repair.
UPDATE: What a difference a year makes. HORRIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL & UNPROFESSIONAL. We hired 2 movers to help unload our moving truck. We are 50+ and couldn’t move these items ourselves. Not only did they NOT show up, they ignored our calls …
I had a poor experience and this is why. At the time, I was moving to Denver and contacted other Carriers. I was kind of surprised as they showed up in u haul trucks and not Smooth Carrier Trucks which I thought was a little odd but didn't say anything. Secondly, none of my furniture was wrapped or anything and I was worried but thought they know what they are doing. Long story short, Sal and his buddy broke the glass in my curio cabinet and i took pictures.

I booked because of the good reviews online, but please hear this warning. The movers showed up almost two hours late and were two young men who looked as they had never done this before. We went over all of my items and talked about priority when packing, they agreed everything should fit with plenty of room. I provided packing supplies, such as blankets to protect antique furniture. The men packed my van so haphazardly and without thought.
Would never use this company ever again. They packed (2) 28 ft trailers for ABF trucking to move from Pueblo to Mesa, AZ. Unfortunately, I can't post pictures on this website but the quality of packing was atrocious. I was promised 3 guys at $120 an hour and Sal gave me 2. When I brought it up, he tried to charge me $150. I had approximately $12k in damages which he blamed on the trucking company. I have moved 38 times in my life and quite a bit across country.

Excellent experience with Smooth Carriers! They had great communication, reasonable pricing, and were professional from start to finish. They moved two very heavy items from Colorado Springs to Pueblo quickly and efficiently, making the whole process stress-free. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!
Sal and the two young men that he had meet us at Big R were extremely punctual, professional, kind and made the moving process absolutely flawless and out of five stars I would give them 10. Smooth carriers exceeded our expectations tenfold. They took the safe to our house moved it exactly where we wanted it. I would recommend them 1st to anyone! Make no doubt about it I wouldn't even price shop, cause what they charge was absolutely fair for the AAA plus service they did.
Huge shout out to Jose and Jaden from Smooth Carriers. They were very careful loading and unloading my furniture and boxes and were polite & friendly. The move was quick, efficient and well organized. This is my 2nd time using Smooth Carriers and absolutely recommend them for moves in Pueblo!

This is the second time I have had Sal and his team move me, once back in 2022, and now in 2026. Both times Sal has made quick work of loading my furniture, toolboxes, and fragile objects. Both times zero damage has occurred to any of my belongings or either house, and Sal was on site working with his guys. Sal and his team are honest, trustworthy, and provide a sense of safety and security during the entire process. The entire team is more than a moving company, they are masters of their craft.
