Avoid NorthStar Moving – They Stole From Me! I wish I could give NorthStar Moving zero stars. My recent move with them turned into an absolute nightmare. Not only were they careless and disorganized, but they stole one of my boxes containing high-end items worth thousands of dollars. The box included luxury clothing, electronics, and irreplaceable personal items—things I had collected over years. From the start, their lack of professionalism was clear.

ZERO STARS. Absolutely HORRIBLE. Do not trust this company to move your belongings. They damaged EVERY SINGLE ITEM THEY MOVED for me in a local move (11 miles) on 23rd September 2024. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS. I contacted NorthStar specifically because I needed assistance disassembling and reassembling a piece of large furniture in addition to moving the usual living, dining, bedroom, office, and kitchen items—all of which are antique and delicate.

I had a video call with Eileen 5/2 where I clearly explained what I planned to take for my international move. NO NO NO to them Worst experience I had with moving company. Don’t believe on the rating in Yelp or Google, these are all fake comments and rates. They are unorganized; they took 8 hours to load the trucks and when they get to our new home it was already evening and they were just rushing and dropped everything. They didn’t unwrap almost anything, left they trash behind; we end up unwrapping everything. I have collected 3 extra-large box of their blanket.

I am still in this mess!! They moved my bedroom furniture with my things still in them, did not pack the empty spaces with paper so everything was all a mess!! Picture is my knives just laid unwrapped in a box!!!

We had an amazing experience with NorthStar moving company today for our 3-Bedroom move (involving heavy exercise equipment and a garage as well!) I have moved within Los Angeles using this company twice now, and both times it was an incredible experience. Our move required five men, and every single one of the movers was extremely skilled, courteous, and went the extra mile to make sure our needs were met. For example, we had some items that were still wall mounted and NorthStar Moving Company helped us a lot.

NorthStar Movers are magicians! I still can’t figure out how they did it. I live in a 300-unit 17 story high rise that is being renovated. While my apartment is under renovation I was being moved to another vacant apartment in the building. Eight of us on my floor were being moved at the same time by eight different crews. NorthStar was doing all the packing also. You would think with all that traffic, something would end up in the wrong apartment. Instead the opposite happened.

I have used Northstar now twice for my moves and I honestly couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism of the people that work here. The movers are all friendly and will do anything to help make the move easier. Juan was so kind and made the move seamless and quick.
