We had a terrible experience trying to make a simple claim for a broken dresser. Their process indicates a two-day response time but we contacted them repeatedly with no response. The claim was finally settled but not in the way we would have ideally wanted. When we were deciding between Olympia (recommended by our realtor) and a local, very reputable and more reasonably priced company, I asked our rep about the cost difference and he said, "You get what you pay for." The majority or our items arrived damaged from Florida. There was never a resolution offered so I’m shocked that I got an email 4 years later asking for a review. On the other hand, the actual movers who assisted us in Texas were very nice and respectful and we understood that the condition of the Items was not their fault.

We have looked into this and cannot find a move that matches your name and this is not an Olympia truck. Is there a move reference number? There are actually several Olympia Moving companies in the US. We have locations in DC, Philadelphia, Boston and Austin.

We apologize if there was noise associated with the move. The crew was there for a period of approximately 3 hours and tasked with delivering 3 full truckloads of desks and file cabinets. The only access in your building is up the stairs and, unfortunately, there is a shared lobby.
I've moved more than a dozen times within cities and long distances. Do yourself a favor and call Gentle Giant or Two Men and a Truck (or your local small moving company - they probably have standards they pride themselves on.) …

At first, things went well with the company. They moved stuff in, they got it set up, etc. However, we did have one crate that was sent to Connecticut, rather than Maryland. I will stress that that was NOT Olympia's fault. …
Olympia has been in ongoing contact with the transferee and is attempting to resolve this matter (along with the origin agent and the shipping company). The records do not reflect that the missing piece was ever received in DC, but we are completing a thorough audit to confirm.

Another perfectly packed POD by Ricardo and Jose. Relocating and using Olympia to pack the POD’s for us. This was the third visit, and like the first two it was executed flawlessly. We had a fantastic smooth move when we brought my mom to come live with us. Olympias office staff and movers were so helpful, professional and efficient. They gave me advice on logistics for the day and took our donations and stuff to the dump. They even specially disposed of a mattress. I can't say enough good things. You know how after a move you swear you'll never move again? I can honestly say I would use Olympia moving again so the fact that I'm even contemplating that says it all.
