All My Sons Moving & Storage

⭐ 1 out of 5 — I do NOT recommend All My Son’s Moving Company I used All My Son’s about two weeks ago and had an awful experience from start to finish. This was a simple one-bedroom move. I’ve lived light for the past two years — no bed frame, no dressers, no washer/dryer, hardly any furniture (yes, embarrassing but the truth). It should have been an easy 3–4 hour job: move a mattress, couch, desk, and clearly labeled boxes. Some items to storage, the rest to my new place.

I recently researched moving company’s in my area Harford County MD. All My Sons moving company showed up with a real professional website so I decided to reach out for a quote. They asked what will I be moving so I gave them an exact detailed list from room to room. After my quote of $445 which I thought it was an ok price since my last move with the same exact furniture cost me $550.

Ads for All My Sons are very misleading. Movers who arrived (late) were clearly not like those pictured. Polite and strong--yes. But not much more. Sometimes careless, thoughtless, not very smart. Packing dishes done well, but most other packing proved dismaying. Inventory process non-existent. Would not unload unless first paid in full, despite 830 credit rating. Generally poor management and procedure. Cannot recommend .

I hired this company to move a one bedroom apartment into a small house. At first it all seemed reasonable, expensive, but a reasonable process. They were very late and then it took 4 hours to load said one bedroom into the truck and several of my belongings were broken. They did not bring the tools to take apart my furniture and were going to leave my dresser and wooden bed frame in my apartment.

Move went well! The three “‘Ds” I would highly Diandre, DavonP and William I highly recommend for future moves!! I am changing my review to one star for items left behind in storage unit and my house. We just had a hunch to check one last time at the storage and found my items in the hallway. The rugs alone were over $500. I contacted AMS and they said that the movers can return to get my things, then move them to my new house.

Worst moving experience ever!!!!!!! This is the third time we have used All My Sons for a move. Once instate, once for an in-town move and this time to move from Florida to Pennsylvania. On move day, the truck they sent was too small for our belongings, this is after they insisted they did not need to send someone to our home to do a physical inventory and after we expressed concerns multiple times that a 26' truck was not going to be large enough.

BEWARE! If you are single woman looking for movers to help you out. I would NOT recommend this place. These guys to begin with when I started booking were really nice and I trusted the person (big mistake) and then towards the end someone else called to confirm the move and when actual people - they were talking too rough and when I said the items that needs to move. They were like oh should this also go.

I was excited to use All My Sons again after my great experience with them last year, but this time I was extremely disappointed. The final cost was double what I was quoted. They billed the start time 30 minutes earlier than they promised me and they stopped working 45 minutes before their end time. While setting up the move they quoted me 3 hours.
