EDITED- now a response to what Helix posted: The company did off a number "best and final" of $432.00. With that number, they sent over another contract explaining that I could not post a negative review. I then asked to speak to their lawyer or the owner of the company, as I was not going to sign another contract which would silence me. I was told the owner was out of the country and they did not have a lawyer on retainer.

I had my movers booked, and they did not show up the morning that they were supposed to. I checked my confirmation date to make sure that I had the right date, which I did. After calling to ask where they were, they admitted that they wrote the wrong day down in their schedule. They were supposed to come at 8 am. They then told me that they would come between 4-6 pm. At 3:30 they then said that they would then come between 7-8 pm. After dragging me along all day, they then tried to switch to the next day.

I will never use this company again & I have also told several of my friends not to use them. I reached out to Helix in April to set up a move for the end of June. I detailed each room & all larger pieces of furniture (went room-by-room while on the phone with Helix). I also informed them that we lived on the top floor of a 4-floor building with no elevator. They provided an estimate of 6hrs, 3 movers, 1 truck that also stated we would be billed at 15 min increments if the move was longer.

Proceed with caution. My experience with this company was filled with red flags. It started with a representative named Phillip, who was pushy and rude while I was asking basic questions. Interestingly, when I spoke to a second representative and mentioned the poor service, they denied any rudeness occurred—until I explicitly named Phillip. Only then did the tone change. To make matters worse, after giving me a quote that seemed okay, they hit me with a ridiculous $369 "fuel surcharge" add-on at the very end.

I was impressed with Mike taking care of contract. Didn't receive call day prior for pick up. Movers were nice and professional when they picked up on Saturday. Was told I'd get a call three days before delivery. Didn't happen. Instead I just received a call at 10:30 am on Tuesday from driver saying they would deliver at noon. No notice from dispatch and no time to have room empty. I'm in another state and Fiancée at work. Had to find someone to let them in.

I had a move with them on Sunday October 5th at 2 PM. They came at 5 PM. They estimated my move to take 3.5 hours. The move took 6 hours which I’ve moved before and this is the longest it took. Not only did they come 3 hours late, they also forgot to drop off all my items and have yet after 3 days to drop off all my items yet after promising to deliver them. My bill came up to $1200 dollars for a 1 bedroom move after being 3 hours late. I still can’t get a hold of them after repeatedly calling for days now.

The office worker was good they quoted one price but the movers was rude as hell they wanted $700.00 more than what the price was locked the truck up till they got the money now if you quote me one price $1300. Fine dont come adding on several hundred more. I would never use this company again the reviews was great that's why I chose them. Look around they are not worth the headache. Makes me wonder about the other reviews (all lies, friends,family)🤔

They gave me a good quote and that’s why I signed the contract. Halfway through the move, I was told I needed to sign an amendment to the contract, because they thought it would be just half a truck but ended up being a full truck. Mind you, I gave them the exact, accurate description of the house prior to them giving me the quote. At the end, they asked for even more money. Ended up paying double. We felt scammed.
