Tone deaf company. Damage to the new place. Werent equipped nor knowledgeable enough to dismantle the bed (ikea). They Needed me to carry the three heavy items and then charged a premium for me carrying the heavy items because there were heavy items. The movers were yelling at each other for part of the move. They charged anothr premium for the flight of stairs (in addition to the hourly rate). Totalling about $2500 on a quote of $600 for a 1 bed apartment.

Buyers beware of their final pricing ! The guy originally quoted on the phone an 'all-inclusive' price stating the only extra charge is an hour they ask for transport to/fro their warehouse but later sent an email quote with a fuel surcharge added, that did not even show on their email quote - it shows on the page you go to after clicking thru the quote to confirm. Felt a bit deceived by their tactics.

Not professional business! Charges were added to the final bill that were not laid out clearly at all in the very misleading initial quote. When the movers finished, they all waited around for the owner of the company ( likely at his desk at home) to make me an invoice that I had to request!. I was given a total to pay through a text message at first. I then asked for a proper invoice, you know... one with an HST # and BN on it like every other company does.

The entire move took just over 9 hours (for a small 2 bedrooms terrace home). Take note that all my boxes were ready to go, all placed and organized in my garage; all my furniture except one piece were ready to move (bed and crib were no longer put together). When I tried addressing my concern with the owner during the move, he disregarded my opinion and concern and redirected me to his website (which also does not state it takes 9 hours to move a small space).

Edit 19 Nov: company offered higher compensation only if I removed Google review. How accurate can reviews be? 12$ provided months later for just under 1k in damage (plus emotional/sentimental value). Response here false- contact me for proof. Edit 26-Oct: Company using photographs of our house in marketing without permission. Active insurance claim underway. TLDR; Stressful and upsetting 13 hour move for 1000sqft apt with one stop before destination. Items broken and company took months to respond.

Terrible job. Broke my 70 inch tv in its original box. Gave my 34.00 in compensation . Did other damage too. Lost three shelves from my wife's wardrobe. Also very slow with lots of walking around and talking. Go somewhere else for your sake. After posting my review the company contacted me. They apologized for the move and offered me compensation. Kudos for that, at least they seemed genuinely concerned.

This was the worst moving service I had ever encounter. Imagine taking 9 hours to move a two bedroom condo, but only ended moving one bedroom set because the other one was going to the garbage… so actually moving one bedroom condo. Please, if you are a single female do not use their services. There are plenty of moving companies with faster services in kijiji

Beware of the quote system! I ended up paying double what was originally quoted. The quote system could be better with adding the price of each stair case and taxes. I was shocked to see how much I was charged for living in a space with a stair case. This information should be more upfront and not in the fine print. $$$$
