I thought the movers we had were efficient and friendly. I am not happy with how we were treated once we reported that things had been broken and lost. I get mistakes happen during a rushed move. When we called in customer service was very rude and didn’t try to find something we reported as lost. We searched our new house and our old house. We know it’s missing. We asked her to talk to the five crew members and she said, “I talked to two and they didn’t see it.
I hired these guys in 2024 to move just a handful of larger items from my house to my storage units. The first issue came when they didn’t have the TV box we paid for, one of the guys had to go back to the office and get one. The second issue came when the box he came back with wasn’t even the right box, the box was supposed to have supports inside similar to the what’s in the box when you first buy your tv, but it didn’t.
I do not recommend these people to help you move. Unprofessional. They took two hours with their second trip back to my old house.. went to my old house which is a five minute drive from my new one just to see one of them sitting in the truck taking a lunch break and the other one taking a dump in my bathroom. (Which they flooded btw) then today I went to the old property to take pictures to send them to the realtor just to see that they caused significant damages to my laundry room door that required a contractor…
Who you get for a crew makes all the difference. We used Parma Movers for a total of three moves. We were incredibly pleased with the first two moves. The crews worked hard and were respectful of our things and homes. We have referred over 10 people to this company. We have spent over $12k+ with this company. On March 27 we had a completely different experience. One of the three workers did not move much and mainly walked around liked management.
They are in my driveway and will not leave my driveway when I have asked. I called their company a couple times to finally resolve the issue. Edit: Thank you for the reply however that is never an acceptable excuse; with the reply in mind and the hassle I had to go through to actually get the truck moved I am going to lower my rating. I have never had an issue with a box truck at my residence and do not understand why your team did.
Yes, correct, with a shared driveway, we had no other option and the driver moved the truck. We were doing all we could do to service our customer, who shares a driveway with you.
The absolute most horrific experience ever with dealing with a company, especially with the main office person Sharon D. WOW, stay away and use another company. Light damage on brand new house (didnt make a big deal of it, the movers did work hard), but the dealings with the office was horrible. Please stay away.

These movers were awesome! Super friendly from the start and just insanely fast. They got everything packed up and moved way quicker than we expected, but still handled all our stuff with a ton of care—nothing got damaged at all. They made the whole process feel easy and way less stressful. Plus, the price was really reasonable. Honestly just a great experience all around. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help with a move.

I had a great experience with Parma movers and they were a huge help for my move, which I know I could not have accomplished without them. The scheduling and estimate were easy, communication was great, the movers were friendly and timely. The amount of time saved and peace of mind was well worth it and highly recommend them. I don’t plan on ever moving again, but if I do, I’ll call them up again!
