Unfortunately I cannot recommend Phoenix Moving! I used them for a local household move to pack and move me. I had so many items damaged and broken. The biggest item was my refrigerator , it was severely damaged. I reached out to Noah, the owner, and he has completely ghosted me when I asked about filing a claim. This is the most unprofessional moving company I’ve worked with. I have moved 9 times in my life cross-country and never had this type of damage and/or lack of communication.

Mover guys are great, but the management team is -10/10. Avoid this company at all costs if you are on a tight timeline, they cannot stick to the schedule. My move was scheduled on 8/25 3pm, no one came so I called around 3:20pm, was told they’ll check, but they never got back to me, I had to call them again at 4pm, only to be told they made an mistake and actually scheduled me on 8/26 3pm.

Noah tried to overcharge us by an hour (almost $200) and we had to point out the mistake multiple times for him to update the final cost. It felt purposeful, like he thought I wouldn’t notice because I’m a woman. I never got a receipt even though I was told I would get one, and I asked Noah specifically two different times in the week following the move. We are missing two items—the *only items a mover mentioned would be in the garage (rather than inside the house), which is incredibly disappointing.

One of my chair seems damaged, possible screw missing not sure what is wrong with it. My guest bed was not put together correctly and the foot board is wonky. The bolts needed was left in the room on the window seal. My desk drawer (top right )was left in the garage and it took me a minute to find it. The bottom Left is not opening and closing as it was. I also asked a file cabin to be placed between the wall and the desk. It was not and I had to try to do in myself, causing me to damage me trim.

I had a move over the first weekend of March. The idea of hiring these guys by the hour sounded great. Then they showed up facial tattoos and foul language. I lived on the third floor at Pinnacle Heights. They were moving soo slow my stuff was on the third floor, and staged in front of my apartment, by the elevator, first floor by the elevator and out by the moving truck. They were moving so slow. I started hand trucking stuff out. I clearly saw them taking breaks and vaping.

This team was very inefficient. It took them over 4 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment 15 mins across town. Granted it was a 2 story apartment, but the stairs were built inside with my garage under it. The truck was literally parked right outside the door. The team was standing around and was even watching videos on their phones at one point. I felt like I was watching children. The crew have very inappropriate conversations at my apartment while "moving" boxes. Very unprofessional.

The movers never came. I needed movers to arrive at 8am in order for me to begin a cross country drive by 12pm. At 8:20am, I called the Phoenix asking where the movers were. Phoenix said they were on the way. I then received a call at 9:15am from another moving company saying they were assigned the contract because Phoenix had a “scheduling conflict.” The earliest the new movers were able to arrive was 12pm, which put me 4 hours off schedule for my cross country drive.

I used this company to move my mom and her friend to another assisted living facility, they were actually recommended. Trust the negative comments on this company- I experienced all this with Noah, the owner. Movers at snail speed, 235% charge above quote, hateful “management.” Was supposedly getting a 15% discount on referral- needless to say I don’t think these movers will get more referrals.
