PODS Moving & Storage

Essentially stole my money and provided no service. Booked a move, and they took hundreds of dollars from me even though they couldn't provide the service I was booking (they couldn't move the POD during the time period I legally needed it moved). After trying to come to a compromise, we ended up needing to just cancel altogether and ask for our money back.

I have used PODS multiple times with a wonderful experience each time until now. The Nashua office has proven to be unprofessional and completely and utterly unreliable. No show, no call and impossible to reach. Costing us more time and money. Unfortunately the national customer service folks although very kind have not been able to help much, explaining it needs to be fixed through Nashua. If you need to go through the Nashua office at all, I would highly recommend against PODS.

Everything had been positive until we unexpectedly had to return back to our point of origin due to a family emergency. We knew we would need some of the items brought back with us and were trying to decide between a u-haul and using PODS again. We were assured on the phone if we used the same container to transport some of the goods back to our point of origin it would be cheaper than our previous contract had been.

I was told by a salesperson that my move could be completed in a very agreeable time window; she told me in no uncertain terms that the pod could be delivered in the next couple days (huge, since I was on a time crunch to move for work), could be picked up the following day, and could be transported to my new apartment within 8 days, though likely in even fewer.

If I could give a ZERO rating, I would! What an absolute nightmare dealing with this most mismanaged company. You've heard the saying, "The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing?" This company wrote the book!! We paid a large amount of money to move our possessions from MA to FL. We ordered three large PODS for the move. Let me state that the drivers are excellent. I do NOT want to include them in my rant. Every time you contact this company, you get a different person.

We've used Pods for two moves, both across the country. We've had no problems with Pods until now with our move here to New Hampshire. We set up our pod move and storage for Nashua explaining to the agent that we were eventually going to purchase a home and set a delivery option at a later time. At no point during this transaction were we told or aware that there was a possibility that Pods would not deliver to a particular home address in New Hampshire.

If I could rate less than one I would. My PODS experience was horrendous. PODS botched my delivery by changing my email address after picking up my full POD with all of my belongings. However, this was AFTER 15 emails to the correct address and 17 text messages. I called the day before my POD was to deliver only to learn they never shipped it because I did not sign the rental agreement... A rental agreement for the POD that was dropped off and picked up after I loaded it.

I contacted with them to move 500 miles. I provided a central zip code and stated final destination would be within 50 mile radius. That was acceptable. When it came time to deliver pod, they changed their tune and initially stated that the pod wouldn't be delivered and I could pick up the contents about 20 miles from my original location. I got nowhere with their customer advocate. I filled a compliant with the BBB.
