I posted a review last year but apparently it was removed. I was moved from Maine to Florida. After giving ample notice , over 2 months, of when I needed delivery, my furniture delivery was change 3 different times. At one point I was told that I did not have a heavy enough load and that was the reason for the delay. I was never informed before or after my furniture was picked up and stored about any weight criteria. I waited almost a month in an empty home for my load.
Client may have us confused with another company, we are not aware of these issues. Please call the office so we can get resolution.
WHERE did my review go?? We hire preferred in 2014 for a long distance move. A large, numbered, sealed Home depot box was STOLEN! Two of the items I had in that box were PET URNS!! The owner was rude, uncaring and did NOT offer us anything …

One of the worst moving companies I have dealt with by far. Firstly we were quoted over the phone, I spoke with Damian and advised he come to our home to look through what was needed to be done and we didn't want to be given a quote via phone conversation but rather have a detailed look at what we needed, how many moving trucks, crew needed etc. Day 1 of packing our home one of the members tried going home much earlier than he was supposed to.

We moved Mr. Soussan from Hampton, NH to Greenland, NH with 5 months of storage in between the move. Preferred Movers agrees that there were some damaged items during the move. A dining room glass table was broken and a few other misc. pieces were damaged while in transit.

Preferred Movers agrees that Mr.. Bawa's shipment was late. Preferred Movers compensated Mr. Bawa for that by taking a generous amount off of his final charges. The bed was accidently left at our warehouse so my driver bought him a bed the day of his delivery.
Update! I opened our $3500 Samsung TV and it is broken. Preferred Movers refusing to replace it, stating that I declined insurance. Apparently if you decline insurance, they can destroy your things due to negligence and do not care. …
Mr. Martineau moved locally direct on 08/18/2022 and I got a call today 09/27/2022 that his TV was damaged. Preferred Movers has sent Mr. Martineau a claim form to fill out to open a claim for the damaged TV. Preferred Movers had given Mr.
They just blew us off! Never showed up. No phone call, No texts. We left may emails, VM Text! Horrible experience! They finally showed up 4 hrs late. No phone to us. we called, we text, No communication.

Polite, efficient, conscientious. Handled the antiques with care. They worked long hours and were very friendly the whole time. They even helped pack up the straggling things that hadn't yet made it into a box. I also feel that the price was very reasonable for the size move we had. Would definitely recommend!
