I had scheduled a move with this company for late June. Spoke to the owner during reservation process. Was quoted 7am arrival, 4 guys, $200 an hour for 6 hours with travel time and a 30 min lunch break. He called the night before and said they would be an hour late. Three guys arrived at 11:15am tired and sweaty. Took them 40 minutes to park their truck up to the door on the street. He asked what was going? I responded everything, but the washer and dryer. He said no. Is that your u-haul out front?

My experience with Provencher Van Lines was complete disappointment. Imagine my surprise when pointing out belongings that were to be loaded on to the truck and the one of the young movers told me that I should move that myself as it may break. A few lamps. Really? Is this what I am writing a check for? For me to move my own furniture? This is not the only disappointment in this fiasco of a move. After packing the truck with my furniture, it was brought to the new apartment.

We used provencher in May to unload a moving truck and had a good experience so we called them again when we moved this past week. I will Never use them again. They quoted me 135 an hour with a minimum of three hours. 3 1/2 hours later he charged me 618.00. And to boot they damaged our furniture and now they will not return any text or phone calls. I believed they used mobile deposit and cash my check while in the parking lot.
These people were obnoxious, gave me the treatment you'd give to a primary school child, asked no questions of me, avoided any of mine and went about their "business" as they saw fit regardless of my ideas concerning what was to be taken and what was to be left. Somehow my business became none of my business! his was foolishness!
I do not believe these positive reviews are real. I used this company for a local move and they charged me 1/3 over what I was quoted. I should not have written the check and Richard Provencher cashed it before my stop payment took …

I can’t say enough good things about Provencher Moving Co. I needed to have my aunt’s belongings packed up, moved, and placed into a storage unit after she passed away, and they made what was already a difficult situation so much easier. From start to finish, Richard, the owner, was personally there and was absolutely wonderful. He and his crew were polite, professional, punctual, and incredibly efficient. They took care of the packing, loading, and hauling quickly while still being careful with everything.

These guys went above and beyond! They dismantled our swingset, moved it, and put it back together beautifully. They even noticed that it needed additional support and actually made stakes out of wood themselves to secure it properly to the ground so we could feel confident it was safe and sturdy. On top of that, they moved an incredibly heavy stone sink to make room for the swingset, without hesitation. I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful they were.

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful Kai, Curtis, Rich, and Landon were to work with! Professional to the highest degree. They helped us switch two kitchen tables out, disassembling and reassembling both in their new homes. Rich is a great communicator with both his customers and team. Would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.
