In their own words
In July 2020, we rented 2 storage units, 10x15’ in the same aisle just doors apart from each other. Our 1st month for a unit 10x15 cost $91 ... which was more than the advertised price. We took it. Then got another identical unit 3 doors down . The next month, our unit’s rent increased to $130/mo. In Dec, the rent increased to $166 making it a 82% increase in rent. The identical 10x15 unit 3 doors down has increased to $209/month which is more than double (130% more??) of what it was when we moved 6 months ago.

We moved our stuff our on a Friday and they called us letting us know our unit was empty, we said we were moving out that day and we would be in Monday to pay/close out. They said that was fine and it would be $17 for the short time we were in. We went in Monday to close out and they said because we were 7 days in we had to pay a whole month, this was not mentioned on the phone.
If you find Brenda there so you will be very lucky This is my comment when I sign with them and then I went overseas after three months they start making the bill high and high right now The bill are triple price I keep calling them. They said you sign on paper and on the paper we write that we can make the price high time we need I know I keep calling them and they don’t care guys what they’re doing as a mafia
For the money people pay to store their stuff you would think the asphalt would be salted and plowed. This is a hazard where cars will slip and slide and knock into the buildings. It snowed over a week ago and the snow still hasn’t been cleared or shoveled.
Here at Public Storage, we are always looking for ways to improve. We appreciate your input.

My husband arrived at the storage unit, no one was there. He was ready to leave and the clerk drove up, he asked if she worked at the facility, she said yes, but said they were closed today. It clearly states that Saturday hours are from …

Customer service has been horrible. This place tells you one rate and then arbitrarily just jumps your rate each month. Be advised the rate they tell you when you start is not the rate you have a few months in. Would never go back here.
Service was slow and employees were pushy with reviews. And now they're calling me because on my review. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER. I hope the employees don't start messing with my unit.

We've had a business storage unit at the Orland Hills IL location for about 6 years. It is a clean and safe setting. Brenda has always been pleasant and easy to work with. She has been especially helpful this past month as there was a billing issue that needed to be addressed. She took care of it and kept me informed as it was being resolved.
