I hired Purley Canadian Movers thinking that they would be a trustworthy reputable company that would ensure my belongings would be treated properly while being moved to another home, boy, was I ever wrong!. Three men out of four showed up, one apparently didn't show up for work that morning. The ones that did show all looked worn out and hung over, scary.

Started out great w/the estimate, lovely lady, was pretty much bang on with the costs up front. On move day, 1 of the 3 guys showed up about a half hour late. Not a big deal. Things got worse as the day progressed, starting with a damaged table insert, dirty hand smudges all over our couch, a partially installed king bed, and the capper was a confrontation downtstairs (while I was upstairs) between at least one of your movers and a girl that represented the building management company that was present to ensure no…
I personally have not hired this company, but they are moving out a neighbour one unit down and across the hall today. They have decided that the hallway is the best place to box things up. The hallway is blocked with moving boxes, multiple dollies, bikes, furniture, moving blankets, etc.. We were not able to use our front door today to take our dog for a walk because they were using the area in front of our door to tape up boxes.

This company blocked the stairs by placing a ramp for their moving activities, making it extremely difficult to go in and out—I had to climb or jump to access the entrance. When I approached the person in the photo to address the issue, he responded very rudely. I also heard that this same individual had a major argument with another tenant earlier regarding blocking the driveway. I believe the company should ensure its employees are trained in proper etiquette and respectful behavior toward other residents.

Rude behaviour: I witnessed a serious altercation between this company and other tenant in the building. The other tenant was questioning why the company had blocked the driveway. In response, the company staff refused to move and proceeded to yell at other person, including making racial remarks such as, “You shouldn’t be in this country” and “Go back to India.”
