Avoid Quality Services Moving (VA) & Woodland Moving (CT) – Worst PCS Ever. If you are reading this because you are a military service member assigned Woodland Moving & Warehouse of West Hartford, CT — or its sister company Quality Services Moving of Northern Virginia — for your PCS move, stop now and strongly consider doing a Personally Procured Move (PPM) instead. If you are a civilian looking for a mover, do not hire either of these companies under any circumstances. The movers will be late.
If you think this looks bad... this is only the tip of the iceberg of what we had to endure with this company for our military move. Short version: this company will string you along by saying that someone will show up at x time, so you wait. When no one shows up, you will not get a call to let you know of the delay. We had workers leave saying that they will be back with more packing materials and they ghosted. We had to call 4 hours later to find out that they will not be back.
This was by far the worse moving experience ever. Our load was miscalculated from the beginning and went down hill from here. This was a 3-day pack; 2-day load. For starters the lead hit another co-workers vehicle with their company truck while they were on a lunch break (I guarantee you they never reported it and yes my neighbors showed us pictures they took).
This company is grossly mismanaged. If you are a service member, I recommend calling the TMP and changing out service providers if you get this company. If that’s not an option for you, DO NOT let these guys jerk you around. If they don’t show when they are supposed to, call your TMP and report them immediately. If they try to move your dates around, call your TMP and report them. I tried to deal with this company directly and it was a complete mess due to their incompetence.
Military move went wrong. Arrived with broken furniture, broken TVs. Missing over $800 of kids clothing and pjs. Lied about the amount of pro gear weight. Not to even mention how horrible they wrote the paperwork. 0 clothes boxes were shown for, 0 TVs ( we have 5) tons and tons of stuff left undocumented.
This company DESTROYED our furniture. Despite my pleas to wrap furniture more thoroughly as they packed my house they put a white $6,000 sectional couch DIRECTLY ON THE GREASY FLOOR OF A MOVING TRUCK with large portions directly exposed and …

In more than 21 years of military service and multiple PCS moves, the two-person packing team of Damaris and Odair from Quality Services Moving was, without question, the most professional, courteous, and skilled packing team I have ever experienced. They arrived on time and immediately introduced themselves before placing floor coverings throughout my apartment to protect the hardwood floors.
Koket, Dillon, and Daarwin worked nine-hours straight diligently unloading, unpacking, assembling, disposing, and getting all of my household goods setup in my house. Professional, efficient, with excellent leadership, knowledgeability, and communication by Koket, the Quality Services Team did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them.
Koket and his team did an outstanding job with my recent pack and load move. Nothing short of professional and courteous. Koket made sure to cross every t and dot every i; from ensuring every box was properly packed and labeled accordingly, to taking thoroughly documenting all items, to even include an exhaustive list of high value items.
Shout out to Gigi, Samaiya, and Destiny!!! The packing crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were professional, personable, and incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail and quality of service really stood out, and they handled everything with great care and efficiency. You can tell they take pride in their work and have great character as a team. Highly recommend their services!
