Had a storage unit for 3 years as I moved out of town for a while. Upon my return, I find everything in my storage unit ruined by water damage and mold from a leaking roof. Price might've been nice, but what's the point if everything's ruined at the end. Lesson learned for me I guess.
I'm disabled in a wheelchair, I made it over there after having reserved a storage unit I got there and was told that they wouldn't rent to me because I didn't have a valid driver's license I do however possess a valid California ID which has the same information as a driver's license. I don't drive due to my disability . So I was not able to rent a unit. (My husband was working 90 minutes away) So I'm stuck with a moving truck full of stuff with no place to store it😡
Extremely horrible policies and customer service. They only allow ONE person to be on the account, and even if you are married, with a marriage certificate, have the credit card that pays the bill every month and the card is in YOUR name …
Dionna, as discussed we have a legal contract with your husband and we are committed to honor the contract. Whether intentional or an oversight on his part by not sharing the gate code and key to the storage unit, we cannot provide you with the requested information or access without his…
Said he would rent to me but changed his tune when I walked in his office. I also notice that people with complaints are met with a response that says that they have never had a tenant by that name.
Kristin, it is unfortunate that we were not able to accommodate your needs. We do have our policies regarding the qualifications to rent a unit with our company which were explained to you over the phone prior to your arrival. We wish you the best in finding a suitable storage unit.
I'd say if you are part of the "No Mask, No Service" COVID cult, you'll definitely like this place and enjoy a great condescending commie-style conversation with the guy at the front desk. …
If you are a college student who doesn't have a driver's license and only a basic id card they won't rent out a storage unit to you.
Angel, we do make exceptions for students when we are advised. You did not mention on the phone or in person that you were a college student. Our bad for assuming that you would have a drivers license when you pulled in and parked at our facility. Best of luck to you, Bill

This is the best storage place in Chico. The office staff is really friendly and helpful when it came to deciding what size unit I needed. Extremely clean and well maintained. I feel like my stuff is secure. Reasonable price and easy to get in and out of. Great doing business with Red Top

Redtop storage is friendly, helpful, and affordable. I especially like how well organized and clean the facility is. It's in a good central location, and the hours work well for me. I like everything about redtop storage and I feel my stored belongings are safe. I've had a storage at Redtop storage for 2+ years and I highly recommend them.

Red Top Storage provides a safe and clean facility for your stored items . I appreciated that access is limited to the hours between 6am and 8 pm to keep usage to daylight hours . It feels safe while you are there .

He came out and helped me in the cold weather when I was locked out of my storage and i don’t think he even charged me. Above and beyond service !
