The owner JR oversells the service to make it seems as if there is one charge for furniture pads & shrink wrap (not bubble wrap btw). The upcharge was insane. A one bedroom move 5mins away, was 4.5 hours at the cost of $700. My belongings where damaged (Dresser) and missing ( my son 1st school pictures, a column, wall art). Once the move was over, it was almost impossible to contact anyone from the company to rectify the situation. It took a full week to reach JR.
Riverfront Moving & Storage deserves less than one star. At first, JR was friendly and responsive—clearly eager to secure our business—but that’s where the customer service and quality ended. JR grossly underestimated how long our move would take, and things only got worse from there. Three out of the four movers were incredibly rude, and their lack of professionalism was shocking.

While I will say the owner seemed nice and professional. And had some guys that looked like they may have just been picked up off the street to help. They were all nice quick and efficient. Until I noticed my bed frame was missing when I went to get my things. I remember the owner distinctly telling the guys put my slats up so they don’t get lost. Well they did alright. I couldn’t find them. Thy couldn’t find them. I asked owner for help. He blocked me. Then mind u I’m very clean tidy young lady.

movers were rude, took many cigarette breaks and did not move my furniture into my apartment. i am a disabled person with advanced MS. my in city 1 bedroom move cost $1000 and was incomplete: they broke pieces of my furniture and took multiple days to return items to me that had not left the truck. this place is a giant scam. i ended up moving up and down 7 flights of stairs (again i am disabled) after the movers rendered the elevator useless and yelled at my COA president.

Terrible. Moved residents out of the Senior Living Community I work at. The workers were rude to my staff. Smoked cigarettes right outside the entrance so the entire floor stunk. They left empty cans outside of where their truck was parked. Extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

After meeting JR the owner, I knew I made the right decision to hire Riverfront Moving & Storage. He was extremely informative and friendly…a straight shooter with no gimmicks just honest fair pricing. The day of the move happened precisely as he said it would. His team called prior to arrival as a courtesy reminder and informed they would arrive in 30 minutes. They were right on time working diligently to load up my home. After arriving to my new residence they were efficient and careful with my belongings.

I had an exceptional experience with Riverfront Moving & Storage! I used them for my move on July 18th, and Joel and Pat were my movers. They were fantastic from start to finish. Getting everything scheduled was incredibly easy. I submitted an inquiry and received a quick response, and I was able to get on the schedule for that upcoming weekend. Highly recommend. Excellent service Professional. My sister called them at the last minute and they were there with 2 hours. Took excellent care of all her items. Items were wrapped and properly handled. Definitely if you need a mover RMS moving is the way to go. Moved everything from a second floor apartment with ease.
