We used Union with our most recent move because we had such a great experience when we moved for a new job opportunity with Mission Hospital. Mission is one of Union's larger accounts, so we got their best service. Unfortunately, we had quite a different experience when we paid out of pocket. Three people showed up to load the truck, but one got angry at the supervisor and left. This left only two people to load a 2500 sq ft home. When it came time to unload, again, only two individuals.
Worst experience imaginable. They damaged our furniture and lost boxes and boxes of valuable items. Contacted owner - who attempted to blame us for their poor service, and took NO responsibility. Very sorry I used them.

Quite a pleasure all thru the transaction. From the estimate thru pulling away everyone was great. The experience level of the packers and drivers averaged 20 years. Well done, on time and with no damage, well we broke a $1.00 key to a cabinet to be accurate. Friendly and efficient with all the technology. Great job, thanks

We've moved numerous times but this was the first time we've used a moving company. The people at Union Transfer and Storage Company located in Arden, NC did a fantastic job from start to finish. The United Van Lines driver, loading and unloading crews were excellent. All time schedules were met and the moving coordinator kept in constant communication with us for status updates and concerns that we might have.
This is the most helpful moving company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My company had a bulk furniture delivery arrive 2 days ahead of schedule, and I was scrambling last minute to find a moving company in Asheville to help unload, unpack, and finish the move (the furniture arrived on a flat-bed semi truck which was unable to fit downtown).
I completed a move half way across the country in August '15 after accepting a job in the state of New York. To summarize, compared to my other moving options, Mayflower RJT Relocation out of Arden, N.C. provided the most punctual, efficient, as well as friendly service available. Their estimate was my final cost, they were in close contact with me throughout the entire process, and not only were they on time, but the van arrived up in New York literally 1/2 hour after my house closing....
