In their own words
No real paperwork or paperwork trail with Arpin, no liability on their part. One of my boxes is lost. Stuff got banged around. Their part of job of assembling and disassembling beds and other basic furniture was left to us, while they got paid for carrying one box at a time, lunch and breaks, time for coffee before leaving their warehouse. I had a fantastic experience with one of their then guys on staff at the end of April. I used them again end of July and boy, night and day.
Let me first start with the ONLY positive I have about this company. We rented our truck so we just needed two guys to load it. They did a great job loading. Other then that this company does bad business. I was told on the the quote would be $95/hr and the clock starts as soon as they leave their facility. Fair enough. The most important thing to note is the man/owner did NOT tell me there was a 4 hour minimum. My guys loaded the truck in an hour (16’ truck which was explained to the man on the phone).
Hello Sir. We appreciate your business. We explained our prices thoroughly to you including our four hour minimum when you called seeking our services on 1/16/20 . Our rates are published in the PUCO- 51 tariff on file with the Public Utilities Commission and available for viewing @ puco.ohio.gov.
Do not be fooled by them!!! They are big cheaters and are not dependable. I saw their 4.8 review and book them 2 weeks prior to our move. They saw our house pictures on zillow and gave an estimate of 4 people 12 hour job to move everything for us and were charging us 185/hr. ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE, they call at 7.30 and say we are 2 people down and will come with 2 people, will load everything and may not be able to unload. We said okay.
Update: Had to change my review to 1 star after I was able to move into my place and see that at least 2 of my boxes had been either misplaced or stolen. For some reason some of our boxes with our most valuable items were not marked with a sticker or inventoried even though we have pictures of the boxes with the rest of our packages during the move. Obviously I personally take responsibility for not checking each and every box to see if they had stickers.

Rob and Cyndi were great! We booked an interstate move through a Wheaton/Arpin affiliate in Madison, WI and Rob/Cyndi/RLD were assigned to our job. We had a 20 ft storage unit full of stuff that we needed transported to CO. We were unable to be there during the load up in Madison, but according to our person there great care was taken with all of our possessions: furniture was padded and wrapped, and all boxes and other items were carefully sorted and loaded.
Very responsive, timely, and thorough. RlD doesn’t cut corners and is truly customer focused. The truck arrived at the expected time for loading with an hour ahead courtesy call. When a delivery date was set, we received a call immediately and verified the date and time for delivery. John went out of his way to make sure our delivery process was flawless. RDL hired the right crew for the job and took great care to prevent any damage to our house and keep it clean.

From start to finish on our first military move across the country This team has provided exceptional service & a worry free experience all around . The team arrived on the scheduled day to pack all our belongings and took extreme amount of care with every item from big to small. We were even asked how we preferred things to be moved and packed and arranged Which made us feel very confident that the team was going to take care of us!
My moving crew did an excellent job with my recent move from a 3 level duplex to a 3 level condo. This 3-man team were very hard workers. Not an easy move. And on top of that, it kept raining off and on. They put protective material down for all of my floors and carpeting at both locations. They were very efficient in using the time of the heavier rains to bring things from upstairs and downstairs to the main floor, not wasting any time.
