The rating breakdown
Google shows 19 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. 4 of those are one or two star.
Google’s published star breakdown
| Rating | Distribution | Count | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 star | 13 | 68.4% | |
| 4 star | 0 | 0% | |
| 3 star | 2 | 10.5% | |
| 2 star | 0 | 0% | |
| 1 star | 4 | 21.1% |
Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

Counted across the 11 four and five star reviews we have read for Santa Cruz Short Stop / Uhaul. A review can mention more than one thing.
In their own words
A lot of UHaul dealers can be shady. This, my friends, is not one of them. Alex and the staff took PROACTIVE steps to help when the system miscalculated my quote by more than $100. Beyond that, they were super friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend them highly enough—I’m a customer for life!
WOW! I've never had such an easy, smooth, efficient U-haul rental! I will always use Santa Cruz Short Stop!
Really good franchise. The owner(?)/manager was so kind, generous, and understanding—a good business model! I’ll be back when I need to rent again.
Move a couch or move a house. Vans trucks and trailers of all shapes and sizes for all of your hauling or moving needs. Great staff. Great service.
What Google’s own summary highlights
Google surfaces topics it finds across a business’s reviews. They skew positive across every mover we hold, so treat them as a summary of what this company is praised for rather than a balanced picture.
