Rick Schaeffer and Schaeffer Piano Company were able to come to my assistance quickly when I needed a Piano moved! I was offered a free piano, the catch being I had to get it moved. I called up Schaeffer Piano and we were able to get a piano pickup and drop off arranged quickly and affordably. The workers were extremely careful and very respectful of covid protocols, both at my house and at the daycare setting we were picking the piano up from. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to move a piano!
I am the manager of a service division and I always pay attention to how other companies do business. I have to say that I was so pleased by the personal and detailed manner the people at Schaeffer do things. Not one detail was missed, on time and for the price they told us. Piano delivered in perfect condition and set up ready to go. Nice work, good price, quality service.
I recently purchased a Kawai K200 for my kids from Schaeffer's. The entire experience from identifying the right piano, to purchasing it, getting it shipped and tuned over the past few months has been wonderful! Tim was responsive and accommodative through out the entire process.. I was also pleasantly surprised to know that Schaeffer's offers an additional warranty to the one that the manufacturer offers, which stands testimony to the confidence they have in products they sell and service!
So I had to move unexpectedly due to the landlord wanting to sell his place. That meant I had to pack in a hurry while trying to finish the school year and figuring out what to do with my piano for the move because regular movers don't always know how to move a piano correctly. I'm really sensitive about my piano because I've had it since I was 17 (almost 60 now) and it was the last gift my mother bought for me before she died so I could get ready for college auditions.
