My husband and I got a second storage unit lastnight..When we went to unload the truck we were locked out of the unit. This morning i went in and talked to Brandy and she was so rude..She basically told me she can't help due to me not being the one who paid for it.. I had my husband call her and she never answered she then sent a txt to him apologizing for not taking the lock off..He tried calling her again and no answer so i went in and asked to speak with her manager.
Oh man, I realize this was back in 2023, and I was not the manager at that time. But, I would still like you to know...how Brandy behaved was unprofessional and uncalled for, and she no longer represents this company NOR is she employed … More
Seemed welcoming and jovial until units rented. Then the games began. First the gate was being operated manually until repair was completed. However, the new management didn't open it at 6 am . 830 the first day ,and random latenessl many of the days in jan. . And I was 3 minutes after 10 pm and mgmt was in my face pitching a fit. Demanding I hurry up. What was standard practice for just about anyone on the premises was an instant problem for me.
While we understand frustration in having to find a new facility, one that can accommodate the special attention you demand daily... However, rewriting the situation in a public review so you look like the victim, doesn’t make your review or story accurate.
All is not as it seems, I would not suggest putting ANYTHING here that is important in any way to you. Sheisty& dishonest but had me fooled too, till they sold both my units without even trying to notify me in any way. During the height of the pandemic. I had been a customer for 6 years, I had been in very regular phone and text contact. Had a working phone # that had not changed in a year.
I have had a storage there twice. First time after I was not able to pay my unit and they auctioned it off, they kept my mom's ashes and personal things. The 2nd time they were caught keeping tenants money and then saying they weren't paying and after I gave them a payment, I was locked inside the gate and then when they auctioned off my unit again, they kept all of my legal court papers, photos of my kids, birth and death certificates, etc.

Usually most places give you a grace period to pay your storage and this place will lock your personal belongings up on the 1st of the month without notice… some people don’t get paid until the 5th that’s so inconvenient and I will be moving storage places
Actually, Security Mini Storage gives customers 10 days after your payment is due to even consider a unit being considered late to get a fee, and even after the ten days of your being late, the late fee is only $10.00. … More

About a month and a 1/2 ago I gave a one star review, but since that time management sat down with me and we were able to clarify the misunderstanding so I believe to give credit when credit's due and the fact that they took my review serious and went out of their way to fix or help explain, the documents that I was having a problem with so I wanted to say thank you miss Reagan you are amazing.
