They will damage your property and never fix it, they will overcharge you by ordering a truck that is too small requiring the labor to be doubled or tripled on top of it do not trust this company I speak from personal experience as I sit on my still broken couch.
It has been over a year since your mother hired us to downsize and move you. If you need to speak with me please call our office. Thank you.
I am absolutely disgusted with this company. We got a pretty big but decent quote for moving our heavy furniture. First this original company overbooked themselves and brought another company out four hours late. We were told because of the huge delay and issues that we were going to get a discount. For a total of 12 hours of work my widowed disabled grandmother had to pay $4500 for two truck loads of work.
Hello Evelyn, I am sorry to hear this and certainly want to address all your points. First, you are absolutely correct in that I made a mistake and didn’t have your grandmother’s 2-3 day move on my schedule. When she called at 8:40 that morning the mistake was discovered.
worst service ever. the people are so rude at the front desk. after being screwed over by the movers not coming until 3 hours after they were booked. they charged me another 1000 then what they said. do not go here

While the people doing the packing,moving and unpacking did a great job. We did not get an estimate of cost until 2 days before when it was too late to back out, and then when we got the bill it was a whole lot more than what was quoted to us. It might have been nice to know how expensive this service was.
I would not use you the treatment you gave my sister and over charging and coming late. For the price I cannot give a good review and I will not recommend to any one.

We had a wonderful experience with SMS and I would recommend them without hesitation. SMS moved my 83-year-old mother from her life-long house into senior living. Not only did they do the heavy lifting in terms of packing, moving, and unpacking, but they also helped with advice and managing the project. My mother was completely at ease with SMS team she worked with. SMS helped her sort through decades of belongings, and plan how she would be living in her new home.

These guys are amazing! Each one of them were awesome, professional, respectful & hardworking. My family recently used this company to help clear out a large house where our mother & grandmother lived for over 60 years. Her recent passing at a feisty 96, showed us how much she really loved "stuff". Alot of stuff. These guys show up with an organized work plan & get the job done pretty quickly. They handle it all.
From our first interaction, Liz was insightful and helpful. As I prepared my 76 year-old mother to relocate from her home of 45 years to a local assisted living facility, Liz asked thoughtful questions and helped me work through logistics. On the day of the move, the staff arrived on time, were courteous and respectful.
Seniors Moving Smarter compassionately took much of the guesswork and heavy lifting out of facilitating an-out-of-state move in the midst of a pandemic. First, Liz helped us assess what we needed to do to downsize 40 years of accumulated stuff and memories, to better stage our home for sale. Her team professionally packed and boxed our belongings on a very tight time frame before the house went on the market. MarJo stayed overtime to ensure that everything was ready.
