Using Sargent moving was the biggest mistake I have ever made the owner talked me into using them with the promise of a lower rate and professionalism they show up with there truck half full of garbage so the would need to make multiple trips they had absolutely no equipment nothing was was brought in or out wrapped furniture ended up dirty damaged and missing and to kick it off talked me into doing the job with no paperwork so no claims could be filed Do your research and stay away at all cost
This review is from a disgruntled employee and was not an actual move that we did.
Where to start? DO NOT hire these people. Tom the owner who says he is a Vet and hires only vets. He is not a Vet and most of his employees are not either. I contracted him to move my home first to a storage unit then into my new home. When my home was finished we made arrangements to have our furniture moved this past Thursday Dec 4th. When we spoke in the morning he said he will call in the afternoon with a time to meet him at storage unit. My wife and I and our puppy checked out of the hotel.

RUN!!! He took my 22 revolver telling me he would sell it for me. Does he still have it??? Who knows, never heard from him again. I had some ceramics that I told him I would move in my car, he said not to worry they will wrap in blankets to transport. They threw them in boxes and when I unpacked, BROKEN. Priceless, my sister made them for me. I was in the garage looking for my drills (there were 3), one of his workers said he already put them in a box.

I recently used Sergeant Moving and Storage for a local move from my storage unit to my new condo, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The crew arrived on time, was professional, friendly, and handled all of my belongings with great care. They worked efficiently, communicated well throughout the move, and made what could have been a stressful day feel easy and organized. One piece was lost in the padding but as soon as I reached out, they made every effort to get me the piece quickly!
Sergeant Moving & Storage is by far the BEST moving company I have used. Michael, Tom and their crew of men, go over and beyond to make your moving experience as smooth as possible. There are no hidden fees or extra costs. What they quote you, is what you will pay. I was referred to them by Maria at Cubesmart in PSL and I will definitely use their services again. They are professional, friendly and hard working. No other moving company can compare to them. I highly recommend them for your movers! A++++ Guys!
Excellent moving company! This was one of the toughest moves I’ve ever had—four flights of stairs and a sky-high stack of boxes—but Sergeant Moving handled it with ease. Their team was efficient, hardworking, and incredibly professional from start to finish. Everything was treated with care, and not a single item was damaged. We’re so glad we trusted them with our move into our new home and would highly recommend them to anyone!
Tom and his crew are very trustworthy and reliable. I have used them 2 times during last minute moves and both times I called they were very helpful and accommodating with my time frame. Which both times the need was that day or 24 hours. They take care of your belongings store them and send pictures. Always responsive and polite. I won’t use anyone else moving forward because I can count on them. Super nice people!
